Front License Plate Holder

Front License Plate Holder
Hi, I'm new and this is my first post. I am moving from the Florida panhandle to Las Vegas in a few months due to my husband's work and need advice on the plate holder. I really hate to think I have to spoil the look of my front end for this! I may just try to keep my Florida plate. I have looked through as many posts as I had time and couldn't find one that related. Is there a search in this forum? Anyway, any hints, tips or what-to-do would be most appreciated. Jan

I tie strapped my front plate to the black plastic airdam under the front bumper. It's not nearly as ugly and semi-legal.

I have the contoured plate that Grumpy posted a link for - if I have to have a plate at least this keeps the lines from most angles....

I've lived in Vegas for over 2 years and I don't have the front plate displayed. It's fitted behind the hard cover. Although NV requires two plates, over 50% of cars on the road don't carry the front plates, and that's not just Vettes.
The local LEOs don't seem to enforce the rule although I hear the odd story of people stopped for other things and the plate being mentioned.
May be worth the risk??
See ya in Vegas. Don't forget to wave.
BTW, nice color!!!

The clear plastic equivalent and the normal color coded plate cover fix with two screws at the bottom of the cover. You need to find the screws with a torch and unscrew with a cross head screwdriver. Bit fiddly but easy when you find the screws.
