Default HD Differential OUTPUT SHAFT $199 Shipped

With high horsepower forced induction engines, the left side differential output shaft on the C5 Corvette should be replaced with the Lingenfelter heavy-duty output shaft. This heavy-duty shaft is produced from 4340 300M alloy steel to provide the strongest possible shaft design for high horsepower Corvette applications. This is a direct replacement for the left side output shaft. Right side shafts do not normally require replacement.

ONLY $199 Shipping Included
Sale Price good for the month of December

Babala65,

Sorry about your misfortune on the timing of your order, give me a call @ 972-417-7177 or shoot me an e-mail and I will give you the $22 you overpaid off anything else we sell.
We are a real "Brick & Mortar" Performance Shop with real employees
and STOCK almost everything we offer.
Please keep us in mind for future purchases as we really appreciate
the business and will try to meet or BEAT the prices from the
Internet Pajama Gigs that usually have no overhead and simply drop ship products from the manufacture or distributor.

This is a great price. I was on DTE's site and they want $349. That's a $150 savings. However they say that there is superior to others? John is this true? Or are they all the same?

I can tell you we have had ZERO broken LPE units
here at 21CMC but I can't say that for "other brands" we sold in the past. I think that the most all the aftermarket shafts are quite a bit stronger than the factory ones but with the kind of Torque these cars can make I am pretty sure any of them could break under extreme conditions.

Wheel hop is a bad thing! With good traction the short/right side shaft should not break but when you're trying to get the most out of your bald kuhmo's and start wheel hopping bad inside the 60' and don't get out of it...snapola! Don't ask me how I know.

BTW - DTE is now selling the right side shaft for $200 but it is just a shaft, no gear, like the left side. You need to provide a left side gear and clip to put on the end of it. I have shoped around a bit and $150 is what I was quoted for a gear. It's not awailable from GM separately much like the short shaft. Pretty neat idea. Don't know if their web site is updated but I talked to them the other day and they are available.

The DTE left side shaft does look better than the LPE unit, and it may in fact be stronger but I too have never heard of anyone snapping either of them.

I'm in for $199. Thanks John.

That's very improtant these days. When I'm buying something I want to know the shop is going to be there the day after I install it, to stand behind it. You don't have to look far to find guys who have been screwed by Dorm Room Racing type "shops". You can get them on the phone between bong hits.

We at MDMC run the output shafts from Lingenfilter/ 21stCenturymusclecars "Thanks ED" in our race and street applications including my 9 second Z, never any a problems and at this price it is only getting better.

That's a terrific price. I also run an LPE hardened output shaft. Perfect time to upgrade is when you're doing a clutch swap.. Don't forget to install a differential strut brace as long as you have everything off.
