I'm not sure if there any difference in shipping, so I didn't factor that in. I buy my Torco in the 5-gallon containers locally, and it is really convenient. If you saved a couple of the Torco quart bottles, you can refill them and keep them handy for fill-ups. Also, you might want to buy a small pump to transfer the Torco out of the 5-gallon mini drum. I bought one at Pep Boys for $13 that works well.
Here is a safety warning - BE REALLY CAREFUL WHEN YOU OPEN THE 5-GALLON DRUM!!! I opened mine after it had been in the garage for a while and the Torco shot out of there like a geyser...at least 8 feet in the air, no BS. Definitely wear eye protection and open it away from anything you don’t want Torco all over. I did not realize how much it would spray when it was opened. It scared the hell out of me. If it had sprayed toward me rather than away from me, I think I might be blind now because it would have gone all over my face and chest. One option to decrease the spray would be to cool it off in the house before you open it. Alternately, you could poke a small hole in the white / clear rubber plug that is under the black cap. That might let the pressure out slowly and it would not spray (as much).

Looking at it another way, buying the same 5 gallons (20 quarts) would cost you $240 if you bought the individual containers versus $125 for the 5-gallon mini-drum, so you are saving $115 for the same amount (20 quarts / 5 gallons).

Be careful opening the drum- I keep mine in a spare bedroom of the house.....it was a pressurized bomb in the garage due to the heat. Just put in my 2 quarts last night.....I feel better already

Don't let your fire dept or insurance company hear about that.

The shipping will be anywhere between $32 to $40, depending on your location. I can ship anywhere in the U.S.. Haz Mat gets a piece of this once you go to 5 gallons.

put me on the list.
I've been using torco now for a couple of months in the Turbo Trans Am
Don't know how or why but it sure eliminated the knock. I can now push the boost up to 20-21 with no problem.
just let me know when to proceed, i don't check the forum daily

Hmmm. A five gallon drum of highly combustible and flammable fuel being stowed in your guest quarters. .

This Group purchase in on!!!

I keep my 5 gallon drum in my garage, with no problems. You always want to keep any type of fuel or additive in a safe cool place and open it slowly.
