Anyone ever try GoodYear Poly V belt's?
I need to replace my belt, and i was curious what everyone was running?
The one on the car is a standard NAPA belt, but i have heard good things about the good year belt's and the Poly V looks better yet.
The rib design is staggered so i was not sure if this would cause any issues with the "contact patch" on the headunit itself.
Anyone have any input on this?
Thanks

Got one on my GTP and it works great with absolutly no belt noise or slippage.
Got one on my Vette and it reduced the slippage some but I still get black powder on the brackets after hard runs, just not as much as with the Gates Micro V belts. :smash:
For a street driven car I guess this is a poor mans Reichard racing pully, the only real fix would be an 8 rib system. :yesnod:

I had the same experience as Peter (Red C5) > The belt ATI shipped me was better than the Goodyear. The ATI-supplied belt never slipped, but the Goodyear did. Supposedly the exact same length too...
