No mods except fuel injectors (42#) and fuel pumps. I still have the stock exhaust manifolds and cats. With only 91 octane available, running 8 pounds of boost, I can't go more than 17 degrees timing without KR. So I capped it at 17, and it runs like crazy....

It really depends on the state of your motor. Even with the exact same mods... some motors will just not take much timing.

Start at 15 and work your way up. Most people are somewhere between 16-22.

I think I'm at 19 right now, but I think it could go much higher now that I have resolved some other knock causing issues.

Thats a tough question because there are so many factors, boost, compression, weather, air fuel ratio, gear selection. You can set up 2 cars the same way and one will like 22 degrees and the next will only accept 20 degrees. The car will tell you how much timing it wants. We have to be smart enough to analize what its asking for :seeya

I run between 22 and 23 degrees of timing at WOT at 10+#s of boost with zero KR! This is with 91 octane and a can of Torco mixed in.
