How much will a 6.0L alum head droppcompression.

How much will a 6.0L alum head droppcompression.
Any idea how much these heads will drop a stock ls1 engine compression. Looking at supercharging with considerable boost..9-10 plus..any ideas would be much appreciated

Not much. Stock LS1 heads are 67 cc's. Stock 6.0 heads are 70cc's. Minus 10 cc's will drop the compression by a full point so 3 cc will only drop your compression about .3 pts which will result in a 9.7ish to 1 compression.

Some LS1 head porters also offer a cc'ed option. They remove some material from the 6.0 head chamber to give a bigger drop in compression. Total Engine Airflow is one of the head porters that come to mind that offer this option.
