whos sells a twin turbo for the c5?
Who sells a twin turbo for the c5? I know that you can get a package at ligenfelter, but i want to know if anyone else sells them. Thanks

Nobody Else at the moment. Jim Haltech at one time had something going for the LS6 but it pretty much fell through - I Believe.

But that is a F-body kit ... same engine ... very different turbo install ..

Anybody get one of these yet? They are about 20-30 minutes from me!!!! Although my single turbo is making the same amount of RWHP they advertising for twins. :yesnod:

Take a look at the Cerra Racing single turbo kit, you'll get the same power and have a lot less underhood plumbing to deal with. :yesnod:

I just picked up the Jan 03 issue of Dupont Registry and there was an add in there advertising a 605 hp twin turbo corvette named the "KMR- Vettester" it does not give details about the TT on their site. Their site is http://www.kmrsupervette.com. This is the first I've seen about this but I think they a had a write up in Corvette Fever. :confused:

With that said, because CERRA Racing is on the CF, many owners have been following their progress. Its easier to get info on their development (just look at all the CERRA posts since their announcement a few months ago)as well as their efforts on early issues if they have any. With the exception of LPE, CERRA is the best bet if one is ga-ga over Turbo - JMO

I haven't heard to much abot the CAS system for C5s but it looks like some of the f-bodies are using it. I'd like to hear more feedback from forum members. :D

I myself called Banks. I first spoke with the manager over Chris and he chuckled, saying nothing had come across his desk about a C5 Turbo. Chris
boasted about a Turbo pic on their site, but the pic was that of an LT1 (I believe).
Fact is it never developed for the C5.

At the time of the original hubbub over the Banks TT for the C5, they were just starting to get back into the SBC performance TT motors. Since that has gotten underway, there have apparently been a few branches added to the program. There are rumors out that they are working on LS1 kits but there is nothing official yet so I wouldn't hold my breath. If Banks does do an LS1 TT kit it will be a serious performer no doubt.
Gale Banks knows how to make HP with turbos. He is currenly building a 1600 hp TT for his son's Camaro. Having Gale Banks as your dad would rule. :smash:
