Like the title says, turbo wnt make more than 14psi on the dyno. We put compressed air into the top port of the WG and still nothing. Tuner thinks its boost leaks but im not convinced. Im thinking back pressure issues. I got a back pressure gauge today so ill run tests this weekend. Setup is
built 6.0 with 243 heads
cam is 226/226-114+4
turbo is 7875 with 1.25 AR
turbo smart 60mm wg
eboost2 controller.
weird thing is, car makes 20psi on the street. I dont get it. By the way, car make 720 on 14psi

Where are you reading boost from? Wouldn't back pressure issues = more boost, not less?

making great power! I'd see if the waste gates might be inconsistent
for sure check for boost leaks Have someone who smokes blow into the system and watch for smoke
street will load the car differently which will cause the turbos to spool differently

It's not uncommon for a dyno to show or produce boost differently on the street. If you so a search, you can see it happens to a lot of cars and people.
It's been suggested that a Mustang Dyno will produce the load differently and will lead to a boost that's closer to the street.
Just some thoughts, as you might be chasing something that doesn't exist.

So I had this issue as well and it was Absolutely boost leaks.
Buy this and test it to rule out my and your tuner theory :

Drifting
in what gear was it dynoed and does it make 20 psi in the same gear on the street? also the intercooler might not be getting enough air and the engine might be generally hotter on the dyno.
