Winner buys first round! Lol.

Man, first i've posted in here in a good while and already get called out on my Flinstone roller . I don't think LSFest east is going to happen this year with getting car ready, but do plan to be running sometime later this year and start testing. I heard M1 burns off some Corona anyway... M1 tax credit??

BTW, have you weighed yours by chance? I think I recall you kept the tunnel, etc. Just curious the differences. That tunnel had to be 250lbs ish when I cut it out.

I’ll buy first round regardless! I’m really hoping I can make it too.

I haven’t weighed my car lately, but the stock tunnel is still in it. 250lbs is a lot! My floors are replaced because of the 25.5 cage install.

Do you have an IG account where you post updates? I’ll give you a follow.

You guys got some serious builds going on! I just dropped my car off to get some interior work done. Getting some parts done in alcantara.

During my build, blownbluez06 did my head liner in alcantara too. After he took my headliner out, rebuilt it from water damage and then sealed up all the frc door/window water leaks. My head liner was crumbling out from the water damage.

Not a new build but just added a ZR1 6060 , c6 Z06 diff, and waiting on my 15” beadlocks and front runners to arrive. I’m installing the spindles and Wilwood brakes since I just got my hands on them yesterday. Once all that’s done, Bret is going to modify my exhaust and it should be ready to go. Also just picked up some C7 competition seats..pretty stoked about those lol

Current setup:
6.0 iron block 370 forged
YSi 2.9 pulley
secondary Drive
10 rib setup
custom grind cam by Bret
twin 450’s in tank
2000cc injectors
E85
ZR1 trans
Z06 diff
15” weld beadlocks
drag spindles - Carlyle
wilwood rear brakes - Carlyle
I’m sure there’s more I’m forgetting..

Is anything done to the diff? I had that c6z trans diff stored in my backyard. Never got around to installing and sold it. Hate myself for it now. Wondering how that diff holds up to launching.

My first post on here, but I bought my 74k miles 2000 C5 in November pretty cheap and decided to get a little more power on it. So far, I've added ECS C5 NOVI 1500 kit, RPM Transmission Stage V, Precision Industries 2600 stall. Got it started this weekend but I had a leak at the top line of the transmission that got straightened out. Started it again and then started losing coolant - left off the clamp to the water pump. I guess in the excitement of "test fitting" the supercharger, just kind of forgot to do it. I'm hoping this weekend to get it out on the road to see what the logs look like. This is my first automatic "fun" car. I don't know if it will take the fun out of it or not.

Just got the car tuned. 17* of timing with the new d1x. Looks like a little bit of wheel spin up top.

Not one I keep up with lol. I'll try and remember to make a thread or something in here at least for when I get back to mine. Hoping by October unless we run into some parts delays on one of these others.

Swapped from a Vortech ti to a procharger d1x. Tune is next month so I’ll be posting the dyno up from that. Here’s a list of the old and new stuff and a little background of my car.

previous
lme 416
91+meth
vortech ti 3.47/10%
861/735
stock trans
178mph in the standing 1/2

now the new stuff
d1x 3.55/10%
dual meth
rpm stage 5 trans
spal fans
tracspec vents

so far the fans are definitely doing their job. The vents get installed this weekend but should definitely help removing air. But that’s all I can think of at this moment. Here’s some pics of the car

good looking car! I have a very similar set up. Except I'm on E85 and 3.60 pulley and some spray
thinking about adding a killer chiller.
