Attn: ATI Procharger Engineers and Employees
It has come to our attention that you may be reading this Forum to find out what our experiences with your product have been. If this is true, please post a thread asking us to tell you about it. I for one would be very happy to talk about my experiences on a thread that you would honestly listen to.
This would not be a complaint thread, rather a sharing of information between manufacturer and end user. Hopefully the outcome will be a better product for the future.
Hope to hear from you guys. :yesnod: :seeya

...and while you are taking copious notes, make a note to send Andy Green @ A&A Corvette Specialties a check for R&D on your Procharger application for the C5 Corvette. (there is obviously a whole lot of money leftover in that R&D account).

Perhaps we should give ATI a change to respond in a positive environment, rather that go on the attack right away. I, for one, would rather see solutions discussed. Lets give them a chance.

I agree -- getting negative is to no one's advantage. We all know that it is to ATI advantage to listen and look for answers -- that is just good business. Some of the vendors & members have actually come up with ideas that should reduce ATI cost in producing the systems in addition to improving performance.

IMHO this thread deserves a bump. I was hoping someone from ATI would chime in. Maybe they will eventually.

I was looking for an email address for ATI to send them a copy of this link. I cant seem to find one now. :(
Does anyone have an address for them so they can respond?
Thanks, vetterdstr

Re: Attn: ATI Procharger Engineers and Employees (vetterdstr)
I just went to there suggestion form that says "ATI is Listening". The URL is http://www.procharger.com/suggest.shtml
I just dropped a simple invite (copy below). I am sure someone else can come up with some more convincing verbiage. Lets hope they join us.
I would like to invite any of your Engineers or employees to join us at corvetteforum. We are (and have been) discussing issues regarding the ATI Procharger for the C5 Corvette. As a new ATI owner myself (D1SC) I feel it would go a long way to hear from you guys on the minor issues we have experienced with your product. I really believe it would increase sales as I see many negative threads about your support which literaly turn people over to the magnuson or the up and coming vortech. The people that visit this forum have money and are in the market now or soon you would have a lot to gain by joining us.
Current thread..

Hope to hear from someone soon..

I know from the inside that they (one person for certain at ATI) is watching this forum. There are reasons that he can not jump in right now, but you are being heard, so please share your comments.

I appreciate the info, and I am glad that they are reading along. I for one would rather wait to tell my findings when someone from ATI can post along with us. I really hate to give input without getting any back.

Re: Attn: ATI Procharger Engineers and Employees
I did get a reply from one of there employees today from the feedback form (a good sign). It wasn't a "canned response" either. I guess they have been very busy with the upcoming SEMA event but will check out the boards soon. He did advise that the tech lines were open as well but I think it will be nice to see them start posting..
Anyway.. just wanted to pass that news along.. :seeya

Re: Attn: ATI Procharger Engineers and Employees (Rookiedyn)
Keep in mind that while the agreement was that they will listen, this person has reason not to post at the moment. It's a one-way conduit for now, but our ideas are being heard, and if enough of us speak, hopefully the result will be more than just a reply on the forum. Perhaps more meaningful changes can be effected, like better support, improved product, etc.

I would ask them to look at their system, compare it to the Vortech C5 kit and let us know what their opinions are of the differences.

Re: Attn: ATI Procharger Engineers and Employees (vetterdstr)
I think the Vortechs release will get there attention more than this post! Its all dollars and cents. Customers won't buy a ATI anymore until it proves dependable out of the box without having to troubleshoot their system. Its just amazing what competion in the market place does!

Re: Attn: ATI Procharger Engineers and Employees (vetterdstr)
I wrote emails to Procharger about their product. I don't presently have a Procharger but am seriously researching it. They were very quick to respond, defending their R&D. They said they had not been receiving complaints about problems. I asked them to check out this site and they said they would. I was impressed by their responses.

It would be good when ATI starts to post here so we can discuss the kit for the C5. In the meantime I am fixing my car. :)

"From a thread in off topic..... "
I've learned....
That to ignore the facts does not change the facts.
Somebody smart once said that....
I am being nice here... just thought I would throw this in.. :blueangel:
Still looking forward to talking to ATI on the Forum, whenever that may be. :)

 no complaints?

I don't think ATI is aware of how the CorvetteForum community shares information.
They thought they could get away with that "We never heard of that before, we'll have to research it and get back with you" crap.

Re: Attn: ATI Procharger Engineers and Employees (vetterdstr)
My thinking was that if enough of us extended invitations, to Procharger, to visit this site that they might take a look. I don't think they realize the size of the participation here. I know I didn't. I didn't want them to think that everyone would be throwing rocks before they got here. :)
