Car is coming along real nice! I have my carbon fiber driveshaft left over. Let me know if you are interested. I can measure it to see it will work. Not sure if your trans has the same output shaft as a glide.

Thanks! I’m guessing the shaft for a glide is longer then what I’ll need for my TH400, but I’ll get under and measure to be sure.

Got a bit more done. Welded up the coil over mounts and installed the QA1s. Installed the rear brake lines.
I completely redid the Turbo piping, as I didn’t like much of anything about it.
Still a lot left to do, but making some progress.

Looking real nice. How much of the tunnel had to come out to fit the 400?
The ST Louis race (NMCA) at the end of the month was canceled. The rescheduled Atlanta race (end of June) is still on (as of now). Going to be crowded as NMRA is going to be their as well. Fingers crossed. Need to smell some tire smoke..

Thanks!
Surprisingly, very little of the forward part of the tunnel had to be removed. I removed the ribs (2) on each side.
I also removed the forward 16” or so of each side of the tunnel, though it wasn’t technically needed to get the trans to fit. I just wanted a little more room.
I’ve been keeping up with the schedule changes with the NMCA. I can’t wait to get this thing finished so I can get back to racing with you guys.
I’m still hoping to LSFest this year. Unfortunately this Shamdemic could affect my wife’s employment. Naturally, if her job goes away, it’ll cut into what I can spend on race car ****.

Paul, I’ll be using the Holley Dominator EFI setup and Ed Hutchings is going to do the tuning.

I'm loving the tube work and rear end setup on this. What made you go with this setup over say the moser bolt in solid axle conversion? Major price difference? I'd love to have something like this for my car. I'm in VA so not too far from you.

I looked at the Moser. I spoke with Brit Cummings out at PRI last year and I think that conversation is what pushed me to the 4-link. Brit was in on the development with Moser and uses it on his NHRA Stock C5. He said is a very capable piece and would suffice for a lot of applications, however, there is limited adjustability due to the torque arm style.
While it is an easy solution, just bolt in and go, it’s over $8,000 with a 9” rear and setup for what I wanted. The 4-link package was right around $5,000. All chromoly with the fab housing, Moser 40 spline/gun drilled/pro flange axles, ARB, and everything needed. Also, it was from S&W Racecars. Relatively local. Good guys over there. The only thing I wish different, was the width of the rear housing. My mistake in ordering.

Did a little bit of mock up today for the dash. This is an OEM cluster modifier by a forum member to accept the round gauges.

Wow, he did a great job. I'm assuming it's the same guy that made mine for me. I may be going back to him to get a new one made for an IC7

Yep, same guy. I saw your post and had to have him make something for me. He does an awesome job repurposing the cluster surround.
