Anybody have a UPP twin turbo?
I'm considering this setup and Im looking for some feedback. What are your mods and what does your car run? Any problems?
I have had a few superchargers in the past but would rather go turbo on my Z.
Thanks.

I have the base kit slightly modified (search username). On 18#'s with a mild junkyaed lq4 build it made 856rwhp/920tq. Highway mpg it avg'd 27.8 and it went 190mph in the ohio mile (13#'s boost setting) spinning a cam bearing. Crappy 1/8 mile teack it ran 6.60@111 on 14#'s. Finishing forged 370 build now.

Bone stock z06 here, on e85 with i think 8 psi made 613hp with room for more but I asked for a conservative tune because I was afraid of blowing up the block...4 years later still love the car and highly recommend the kit as well as the crew at UPP

Wow thats great power for 8 pounds on a stock motor. So 4 years without any problems?

Yeah its been 4 great years! Only problem I have is that I want to turn up the boost but i also don't want to be sweeping up pieces of my engine . If I were to do it all over again I would do the kit without hesitation.

I just fired up my new 370" engine on Sunday. As soon as its dry enough to drive. I'll get the clutch/engine broke in and see what these little 5871's do on 20-22#'s of boost.

How is your ic pipe clearance on the part that runs through the front fenders? I have 295s on 18x10.5 rears on the front and wondering if you think that would cause fitment issues? Thanks

I cut into my inner fenders in some spots for more room. My Toyo R 888 275/40/17 actually measure out like a 295. With the trimmed sections in back of wheel wells and a spot or two otherwise I have no issues going lock to lock with compressed suspension. Maybe a very light glimmer of rub in some scenarios.

The cutouts along the frame rails were from when I was dropped 2" on stock leafs and running a 315 front tire. Now a little over an inch currently dropped on coilovers with no issues.
