Sad Day, might part out car
So I have been throwing around the idea of sending the car down the road and getting a Viper or an E55 AMG. In order do to that obviously I would have to sell the Corvette first.
Looking in the classifieds there are tons of nice boosted cars for sale, as nice or nicer than mine, for less money.
Thinking I may end up parting it out if I can't get $20k out of it. I should be able to sell $8-10k of parts off it and then sell the car for at least $10-12k.
Is this where we are now? Where a nice boosted C5 is worth under $20k? Will it ever turn around? Or is the only way to sell a car to part it out?

I know its not a money making proposition to build a car. I just wish these cars had been available 3 years ago when I bought my car, would have loved to roll over the couch for a few extra thou and buy the car I built vs building it the hard way.
