rwhp/trq estimates with new setup
just finished up a new setup with my 03 Z06, it now has an A&A v2si with 3.4 pulley, alky meth, A&A 220/230 small blower cam and kooks 1 7/8 headers no cats and corsa extreme . Just looking for some thoughts as to what kind of power this setup should put down.

One thing for sure; you will love it!!!
Be careful, at first, until you get used to what you have....
Traction control is your friend!!!
Be sure to post real numbers when you get them.

I would like to see 650ish at the wheel, boost level should be around 11-12psi. I have 305 toyo r888 so it will still spin but should hook by 3rd gear lol. Its at the tuner now but he has to fab up a new charge pipe to accommodate the Tial BOV, so it should be done next week

I am at ~13 psi, ported heads, cam, headers, meth, sd tuned and on a mustang dyno I was ~650 rwhp. Mind you the Dynojet numbers are 740s, so you can see why I ask.

You'll make nice power - but just don't get caught up in the numbers let it give you what it gives you! and make adjustment from there
Ohh and it'll give you some nice smells with no cats too!

With a good tuner you should be there I would think, My LS1 is just under 650 set up almost the same, different cam but that's basically it.

shop just finished making a custom charge pipe to hold the tial BOV/meth nozzle and there installing the alky meth kit tonight, should have dyno numbers tomorrow...

Picked up the car and all is well, however when I let off and coast down the road and then accelerate again I get a lean reading and surge for a couple seconds, long story short it appears that my tial bov is not opening at idle and building up air until I hit the throttle, unsure as to what spring is in the bov but I will be taking off tomorrow to check the color, has anyone else had this problem?

It's an unpainted spring that is currently in there, I have a extra black and green spring, which one should be in there? The vacuum line is tied into a T with the boost gauge

Minor issues to deal with, sweet numbers and definitely going to be a lot of fun.
You'll definitely enjoy it, when you have a car like this it's a labor of love for sure, that's what makes it so much fun.

Well I switched out the spring to the 3lb and yes now it is open at idle. However it still have drivability problems so I dropped it off to the tuner and he said I need to switch to a speed density tune... So I left it with him ugh more money lol
