Radiator top support and shroud ideas w/ ECS kit
I got the ECS supercharger kit, I'm not a fan of how they want you to reuse the original top radiator support and looking for ideas. Are there other products I can use? Or will I have to custom make something? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Wanna have my car ready to go this spring! Final touches time

I just finished up my ECS install and agree with it not looking the best. At some point I plan on making a custom shroud like you see on some of the C6 kits.

I couldn't even get mine to fit... the angle the radiator was at would not allow the radiator cover to fit on properly so I just left it off... a new sheet metal top cover that goes over the radiator would be nice

Same here, spent a lot of time getting it to kind of fit! Just never have time to try to fab something up.....Count me in too Doug!

I think I'm just going to use some "u" channel aluminum and then weld it to an angle pc and tighten down with the original mounting bolts. Then gotta figure out how to make the shroud connect to it.

Also, you're a hard man to get ahold of. I still need those parts but I'm willing to wait if you do have something better that your redesigning.

Hell if I know. I ran without the top shroud forever because I hated it but starting over heating recently so I put it back on hoping this would fix it but my issue is not having a front air dam. I would just like a better fitted top shroud that uses it's own clips or something to attached to the car/frame/radiator.
I loved the black on the top cover but I wrench on my car quite a bit and it's impossible to not scratch up.

I'm just going to have one fabbed up when I get around to it, something similar to the a&a cover that wraps around the top of the radiator and I will probably have the intercooler boxed in also

Do u have any pics to the A & A top shroud ? Hmm , wonder if it would fit without chopping it All up
