there's been plenty of good reports back on both options above. Take your pick.

I have the LT1-R (sintered iron disc version of the one above). Does it's job well, and performs at the track. Not apples to apples though, as these discs are much more aggressive then what's in the LT1-SC. Some recent changes to the car have made it a good bit quieter inside, and i'll say I can hear a little bit of clutch rattle. Not uncommon for a clutch originally setup with a dual mass flywheel, run without it.

I just installed a Spec 3+ in my car if you want any details on it.
I'm 590 rwhp less then 50 miles since install.

I have run this clutch in both my boosted C5s. Fantastic clutch. Great as a daily driver and takes all you can throw at it.

People love to bash spec and I will join right in when talking about their puck style clutches(chattering, moaning, grabby, poor mannered). But the full faced Spec 3+ is a completely different animal.

Does the pedal soften up... if not I can deal with it.
But it sure is harder to press.

Mantic 9000, it drives very close to stock. I could kick myself for not buying one years ago while I struggled to live with a Spec 3+

It does take more pedal effort. Especially when coupled with an aftermarket master that cuts the travel down. It feels like it gets easier over time, but I think my leg just got stronger Even so..this clutch with my Mcleod Master is livable.

Its livable, its not any harder then a truck.
Just really surprised me.

I have a Tilten master cylinder.

Clutch will hold all 590 rwhp I can though at.
Car feels faster since it hooks so well.
