FI Noob... Help/Advice?
Hi guys, sorry to be "this guy" but I am about to buy a used procharger kit off of a member on here. It is a stage 2 ATI kit, with a P1 head unit. As of now, my car has 1 7/8 Super Pros, 3" offroad xpipe, and vararam. I guess the question is, what is the basic mods i need to bolt this kit on and go? It comes with 60# injectors, and I plan to buy a Walhbro 255 and hotwire kit. I read where some guys were talking about upgrading the springs and pushrods? Im only looking to make 500-550, nothing too insane. Im not necessarily on a strict budget, but if it could be done in a cost effective way, I wouldn't be upset. I guess, in a summarized manner, what is a list of **** i need for this kit. Thanks in advance fellas, and sorry to be the nooby guy.

All good we were all that guy once.
You will need:
Kit with 60 lb injectors
Racetronix harness
BAP or LPE pump. (LPE pump only for me was good for about 570rwhp) Stock pump and BAP would be about the same power rating I believe.
Springs are a good idea to help control valve float. Might as well do pushrods and springs and you will be ready for a cam.
Last and perhaps most important- A good tune
Clutch will last a little while depending on how you drive it. You should consider some more drivetrain mods if you plan to drag race it often etc.
What size pulley comes with the kit? What model and year C5 do you have?

Well fellas, I really appreciate all of the help. I think I have almost talked myself out of it. The used kit is $3100 with injectors shipped. It is missing a few couplers and the throttle body pipe. So i figure this
$100+ for the pipe
$20-40 for misc couplers needed
$150-200 for pump
$200-300 for BAP (Idk why this is more than the pump itself)
$50 for hotwire kit
$50-75 for boost guage
$200-300 for Wideband
$400 for springs and pushrods
$100 for ls7 lifters
So thats roughly an additional $1600 in parts, plus the cost of installation for this stuff, because I am not mechanically inclined at all, so lets tack on $800-1000 for that, then still have a $500 tune. Making the grand total approx $6200 after it is all said and done. Although I will have to sell the vararam that is on the car, so maybe re-coupe $200 of that i would say. Still leaving me at $6000 for this used kit. Maybe I am seeing this different. I know some deals are to be had out there, but $6000 for 500-530 im guessing doesnt seem all that great to me after I sat down and went through everything. Those with experience or some advice please chime in, thanks, Devin

Hey leo12, is the fuel stuff still up for grabs? I don't want to jump line, but if not spoken for I'm very interested.
If still available let me know & I'll give you my email & get your paypal info. Thanks

Vendors also run specials every now & then where you can get a new SC installed and tuned out the door for around $5500 if you don't want used. Every time I see it I'm tempted to ditch my STS kit...
