Default Gauging Interest TTIX Billet 6265 With 3" Downpipes

A trade deal has been made with a member so this is off the market.

This is a complete kit with all available upgrades and then some from TTI. Costs was over $13k a few years ago.

Billet BB PTE 6265 Turbos
TTI 3" Downpipes
Larger Intercooler Upgrade

These kits with low backpressure setups have boost control issues. I've gone to hell and back, and we solved that issue. TMK TTI has not addressed it. We welded up the downpipe WG port and added a flange to the housings. I also upgraded to Tial 44mm wastegates. Boost control is a non issue, and it still made 24psi with 11psi springs. I made 980rwhp through 2.5in mufflers. I've got dyno sheets, install pics, dyno videos, etc. Also have references for sales.

The kit is still on the car. The car is down for a stuck lifter. It would be 100% complete. It's in very good shape, about 5k miles. Just your typical dings or scratches that are bound to happen with install.

PM me on here for my cell if you would like more info or just reply here.

I'm getting out of the big HP game anyway, and I don't have as much free time for the hobby anymore. I'll keep the car. This setup is beyond overkill for what I want.

Sorry to hear about the lifter. Good luck with the sale on the TTiX kit. I bought mine used with 5,000 miles and it has been flawless for another 20,000 miles so far.

The person that purchases this setup will be getting a well sorted kit capable of making from 500 to over 1000 HP.

I'll slap a price on this. $8,500+ship. Pretty sure I am not going to hold onto this, and the car is down for an unrelated issue.

Are you still having problems even with the built diff + Level 7 trans?

I'm itchin to crank up the boost but am reluctant to if it means grenading my dirveline in short order.

I'll add that for the "right" blower setup I'd be interested in a trade/partial trade. I'm going to need some 1 7/8" headers and a blower kit with better than off the shelf kit parts with a novi2000/2200,f1a/f1c, ysi, etc. I plan to dial the car in around 700 until I get bored and leave just a little room to turn it up. Prefer someone semi-local.

You can do 700 with your snails. Sounds more like you're ready to step away from the dark side

Good luck with the sale/trade. I'm sure it will get picked up pretty quick. The ttix setups never last too long in the for sale section.

Sad to see you sell and switch back. What was the rock bottom boost you could run with the gates in the new locations? I need to get moving on mine to see if my goofy gate location works well or not. Good luck.

Yea. I want something simple and low maintenance. This kit is hard to work on, as I'd imagine any TT kit with large turbos on these cars are. Just no room.

I was running 6.5psi with only 10* timing in it with the new 416. Only got to try it a couple times, and then this damn lifter got stuck.

It's the billet 6265's with the CEA wheel rated at 700hp each. http://www.tunergeeks.com/products/product122.html

I've seen people make 1200-1300rwhp on here. Backpressure seems to be a major issue, so assume straight 3" with no restriction.

You wouldn't be interested in trading for a big ls7 style nitrous motor would you?

It's strictly related to the bigger turbos that flow more air. Couple that with 3" downpipes and you see it more. Less backpressure? Even more. They designed this kit to use a housing originally meant for internally gated turbos. There is not enough "wastegate" priority in the flow. Therefore the wheels can only slowed down so much. Seems to be around 800rwhp on most setups. That was around 16psi for me with choked down muffers.

Tiago and Forced Fed Fabrications devised a solution where we drilled a hole in the bottom of the housings. We attached 44mm tial wastegates there. Problem solved. I'm looking for a pic.
