Default from a Maggie 112 to a&a

In the early stages of my Maggie 112 to a&a v3 so swap
got it pretty much tore down. And just staring at my water pump and wondering what I should do here.

I'd really like an electric water pump. But I'd also like to throw a cam in it, but can't do both. It will put me over budget.. Since the mag came off. The cost to put an a&a on was a little higher than normal. I lacked the ls6 intake, valley cover, fuel rails, intake bolts and belt tensioner, this set me back a good 750.00. Which ate up some of the budget

I've searched about the true cost of a cam swap and it seems the sky is the limit with the cost of the (while your in there) stuff.

I guess I'm more or less looking for advice with the cam. I'm this far now... Seems like I just need someone to give me the little extra push.

Also here is another item that is pulling cash from my budget.. This radiator was already installed in my car when I bought it. And my car always left a small few drops of coolant on the floor. A very small amount.. I was hoping one of the hoses would be leaking
Here is the real culprit. Can this be repaired. It looks like it already has some sort of smurfy repair material in there already.

That smurfy repair might have prevented a better repair from being done.

Hi
Not to "push" you but I would probably do the cam , then if you get a few bucks saved do the water pump .

Less work and easier to do the pump second if and when funds become available .

Arun would be a great guy to talk to ref cams .

and yeah I know all about wanting both

Bought a cam sc2 from S-Inc. Brian tooley springs and some pushrods.

Got my balencer exposed so I can take it off. Not looking forward to putting the rack back in.

Swapped out the Maggie valley cover with a ls6 valley cover. And was able to drop the intake on

It does look nice... Sinister... I also painted my water pump black. Along with my alternator and bracket for the alternator and power steering pump to kinda keep the theme going.

its leaps and bounds better than my maggie, the low end tq loss that i read about seems to be a myth. it may have less tq, but its way more responsive, that could maybe be the cam at work, the car is pretty much useless in 1st 2nd and most of 3rd @ wot
im running a cheap potenza
the main reason i did the swap was the hood, there were too few choices, and i didnt like any of them.
once my maggie seemed to get warmed up the car felt very doggy i was recording iat 110* over ambient on a 80 * day just normal driving in a rural area.
