Default P1SC on my SW Z06..

Well I found a SW Z06 in Arkansas a few months ago while going to every city on craigslist and searching "c5 z06." Needless to say, I drove there the next day and bought it. Since then, I've been buying LOTS of parts for my very first blower install. Found an old p1sc head unit here on the forum that had a fresh rebuild. Ordered a EG Whiplash cam, Devils Own meth kit, Kooks 1 7/8th w/ catted x, and all the supporting parts. Today it went on the dyno and WOW! Made 616rwhp with just a 4.25" pulley. I gotta admit, I was amazed. I pick it up tomorrow, so I'll post a dyno graph then. I expected to end up around 550. What do y'all think?

I'm only getting 5psi with my 4.25" P1SC and I'm running a A&A kit (better intercooler than the procharger twins). I have:

Dart Heads (a little better than the Z heads but not much)
228/232 .571/.573 112 (a little bigger cam than you)
BBK shorty headers (much worse than the Long Tubes you are running)
Fast intake (a little better than the LS6 intake)

Where is my boost going? Am I leaking boost (maybe through the BOV)? I haven't had it on the dyno but I doubt I'm making 600hp. Anybody have any thoughts of why I'm losing so much boost compared to a comparable setup?

A MORE efficient engine (heads/cam/exhaust) will lower your boost (but not power) and a LESS efficient "intake system" charge pipe, filter, etc, will lower it as well.

8lbs with a 4.25 pulley with a p1sc head unit is NOT anywhere close to typical.

My 30K mile z06
stock LS6 (except valvesprings)
ARH headers w xpipe no cats corsa axle back exhaust)
P1SC1 second generation procharger kit & 60lb injectors, alkycontrol meth

3.70 pulley => 10lbs = 640rwhp dynojet / 550rwhp mustang
4.0 pulley => 6.5lbs

the OP cam profile may be the "restriction" to observe 8lbs with a 4.25" ... or the head unit is not what it seems. A D1SC would be closer to what the OP observes 8lbs w 4.25

My self built engine, self ported made maybe 7lbs with 3.85. Now I'm 3.0 with a direct drive. It hasn't flung apart yet, so I may go smaller. Either way, every engine is different. Congrants OP.

Yes 8lbs is definitely not typical. My tuner is absolutely amazing as well. He said he didn't expect my car to make over 550, but the England Green cam matched up perfectly with this blower, just like EG told me it would.

Your cam is not even close to being bigger than mine. I'm in the mid 240's on duration, and am at approx .620 lift on a 114. EG wouldn't tell me exact specs, but they said this was very close
