Default Am i stupid or too picky ???

Lets face it im a torque value guy, i always use my torque (3 of them) for everything on my car so i was a little suprise to see that i didnt had any torque value for my blower install(A&A V3S1 Kit).. So maybe im too picky or too stupid

So what would be the correct torque value for:

Rear bracket to the engine block ?
Main bracket to blower ?
Main bracket to rear bracket ?

Thanks
Eric

Depends, you still waiting on the specs to complete the job or use common sense, finish & just asking?

I have had them on and off several of my cars at least a dozen times. I go with "tight as I can get it without breaking or stripping something". I'm also that guy that will tighten just about everything by feel except the heads on a motor, so take it with a grain of salt.

and sometimes torquing by feel can save your butt... i've got a buddy dropping the engine back in his camaro right now & the other day, he read a couple numbers from the GM torque sheet wrong (or mixed the labels or something) and ended up shearing a couple different bolts in two (valve cover bolt & one of the engine bracket mounting bolts)

Remember that your installing grade 8 bolts into aluminum...I had to helicoil my blower bracket due to stripping the aluminum threads.

This is exactly why i was asking if they where any precise torque. I did stripped a couple of bolts when going by feeling but never did with my torque wrench .

I wound up putting a helicoil in every threaded hole on the bracket. They should come like that from the manufacturer anyway. It's only a matter of time until those aluminum threads give up the ghost to the hardened bolts.
