Default WTH my uPP kit only made 600rwhp!

Sorry just kidding. Went to the dyno at my buddies shop and ran my 01 Coupe on the Dynocom dyno. Using 14 gallons BP92, 4 gallons of 110 leaded, and dual Snow 60ml/min nozzles on a progressive controller.

Build thread
http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c5-f...-the-road.html

I made 3 pulls, 2 on 17#'s, and third on 18#'s. The results were extremely consistent and the 18# pull was made after the 2nd 17# pull but I removed a degree of timing from the midrange and tweaked the E-Boost Street. IATs were 90-100 starting out and kept to no higher than 114 in an 80 degree 78% humidity dyno room with 2 old home furnace fans blowing cool air on the front of the car.

17#+ pull

18# pull

Thanks for the kind words guys. Jaime if I get this new job I won't be able to go racing anywhere but the local 1/8th mile for the next year. But the $ and benefits will be a huge improvement.

Now if I could get time to run at Topeka's track, and hopefully without breaking half shafts again. Come on 9's

That could be fun, plus I could see a Drag Week friend Steve Fagan and his Procharged 509ci S10 Blazer.

Nick (B16GSR) said it left 30' black marks (running 315/35/17 MT ET2'S) after every shift 1st-4th on a test drive. So the dyno reading made sense then

Joe you made my heart skip a beat! I first read the "WTH...." part and I sank in my seat a little. Glad to see her pumping out some nice digits! What's all done with the engine?

Stock 2004.5 LQ4 short block
Mild ported 317 heads
Isky 219/223 113 cam
Edelbrock Pro-Flo intake
Ebay head studs and LS9 headgaskets.
E-boost Street controller
Reworked passenger downpipe, and the upgraded waste gate springs you provided.
Big fuel system, oil cooler, and dual methanol nozzle Snow kit listed in build thread.

If it blows I'll just grab another $1k junkyard engine.

I am telling you this son of a b*tch is insane. I have ridden in tons of fast cars, but this thing is violent. It is awesome. I should have taken pic of the marks we left on every hit. DAMN man.

I've been waiting to see what the UPP kit would do when pushed. Very impressive. It will be interesting to see how long the stock short block lasts. Good luck.

I wouldn't even call that pushing it.....leaning on it a little, but not pushing it!

Definitely pushing the block though....very impressive!

I drove the car 600 miles (one way) in May to do 3 standing mile passes on 14#'s, seeing boost drop off up top to 10-11#'s. But it was consistent as hell running 185+mph. Since I've made tunig and wastgate spring changes that have really woke the combo up. I just ran it at the local 1/8th mile track. 2nd gear wasn't happy at all but it trapped 107 on 11#'s with me shifting 1st to third and sliding all over the loose track. I beat the hell outta this combo shifting it at 7k, and it is so much fun. This s the later iron block with the improved connecting rod as well. Hell my 01 GMC with an 04 Tahoe 5.3 (weaker rod block) engine makes 713rwhp and gets the guts beat out of it as well.
