Anyone in the 10's on an STS kit
Just curious to see who has gotten these kits to perform and more importantly what they did for durability and consistent.
Would prefer to hear from those who performed the actual recon vs the AAR.

ran about a 11.2 on just the sts kit on a 03Z back in 06 with methanol around 550 rwhp. (needless to say I've been 12.09 on street tires and 11.75 at 117 on a drag pack with the same car at the time, so yes I can launch and shift it)
ran a 10.7 on the sts kit with a forged 346 and around 710 rwhp. Spool was pathetic with 14 pounds, heatcoated the manifolds and midpipes, pulled the cats put in bullet mufflers, thermal wrap on midpipes, switched to GT 35 ballbearing turbos at their recommendation.
Still spooled like crap, every shift with a 6 speed it was spooling for way too long. Dumped that junk and got a paxton and it was night and day. Blower is based on RPM and the surge/blow off closing and you're back in business, not waiting for it to start all over after each shift. Results with automatics were better, but with a stick it sucked. Dyno numbers were there but track numbers were not.
Not to mention the pipes coming out of the turbos needing to be rewelded 3 or 4 times because the hanger ripped from the pipe and it would lose boost.
In my opinion as a user.........money better spent on another forced induction option.
