Default what gear ratio

Im sure this has been beat to death, ahh what the hell, 1 more time... lol

I just bought a spare 3 rib 3.15 diff.
Getting ready to do a full c6z upgrade to it, and a set of gears...

Car is a 01 z. Cam, lg longtubes... bolton.
Made 425rwhp.
Went 12.0 @119 -2.0 60ft

I have 418 stroker thats almost done. Its either going to be 12.0 to 1 with nitrous . Or 10 to 1 with boost.

( did not buy the piston yet.)

Im debating on 3.73 or 3.90

What u guys think

3:42 no question about it. NO REALLY WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO BE USING THE CAR FOR. If more street and very little track 3:42 or the 3:73. You need to look at you want out of the car, Then look if a track car what # you want out of it on the top end of the track.

Yes, pretty straightforward. I'm curious if there is any sort of rule of thumb on percentage of top end lost as gear ratio changes?

I have a 01Z with stock rear and trans ratio and want more gear (mainly because of highway pulls) The C6Z gearing seems perfect.. I love the MN12 down down but when modded you are shifting pretty quickly through the gears.

For you I'd say 373.

I wouldn't go any lower than my 346's unless you are going to drive around town with slicks on. My wheel spin is very hard to control as it is with DR's. I guess it depends on what you are going to do with the car.
