Did you go with the pillar mounted Boost and Fuel Pressure gauges, Don? I'm deciding now whether I should do that or not.

Anybody not do the gauges and regret it?

I did not. Andy at A&A tuned it, and spent a lot of time with it. It seems to run awesome, to me. Going from 314 to 504 RWHP is a hoot...
It's a mild tune, as I requested. This works for me.

I did find a nice almost new (low miles) Z06 cat back, and installed it. Thanks for the heads up on that!

Okay, thanks Don. I'm having them do mine as well. Right around 500 hp is what I'm looking for, too.

Don, tell us a bit more about what supercharger unit you had installed.... I've been fantasizing about this myself, so now I can tease myself some more

I have the V3 T trim supercharger. It has the 3.25 pulley.
As I wrote earlier, my LS1 is completely stock. So Andy gave me the mild tune, I requested.
With that V3, I could easily upgrade to some big numbers, if I wished to upgrade some of the internals on my engine.
For now, I don't wish to do that. But, I always reserve the right to change my mind; about everything...

It (the V3 T) is air restricted on the top end, so it won't rip my stock engine apart.
I love the way it runs. Just awesome, to me. Again, I wrote earlier that I know some guys have way more (600, 700, 800) RWHP than I do, for now.
As one of the guys mentioned in an earlier post, 504 RWHP is enough to get you into trouble (trouble can be defined in many ways, not the least of which is a desire for MORE). And he is so correct I think on that.

In my 60 plus years, I've learned a lot. And, maybe more importantly, I've learned what I 'don't know' !!! I'm not a professional race car driver. Those guys, as all professional athletes, are very skilled in what they do.

When I nail this car now, and all 504 RWHP kicks in, it's a hand full. Enough to make me think I don't need 600, or 750 at the rear wheel.
But, as I said, I can change my mind on that, anytime I want....
Truly, if you're going to drive these cars with this much power (and lots more than I have), you better know what you are doing. I imagine, that most of the guys on here, with 700+ RWHP have raced for years in one form or another. Many probably started with go karts, as kids, then snowmobiles, or midget cars; then on and on to higher levels of racing. Acquiring skills along the way making them 'pros' in that sense.
I did some of that (racing) when younger, so I"m not without some clue of what I'm doing or saying. But I think I know my limitations. And I have enough car/power for me, for now; most of which I'll almost never use.

But, I understand, why many guys want MORE....

With my setup now, it would be easy (Andy at A&A told me) to get much more.

Finally, if I ever would trade for a 2013 Grand Sport (which has crossed my mind for some day), this supercharger will fit on it; nicely....

Don

Great pics! Great looking car!

For the record, that kit won't fit on the 2013 GS and to make it fit, you would be better off selling it and starting over.

Thanks, good to know. If I ever do change, I'm sure A&A will find me one that will fit a GS.

That car looks amazing with those wheels. Congrats on the new power and successful retirement.

Maybe I missed it, but do you have a converter in the car?
