Default UPP Twin turbo Set for a street car around 800whp

Hi,
Do you have any experience with UPP C5TT set? Would you recommend it for a street car targeting 700-800whp?
Thx

I've got the basic kit on my Vette. I'm hoping for 825-840rwhp with about 20lbs of boost on my heads/cam/Pro-Flo LQ4.

I don't really discriminate. Boost is awesome.

I konw that already. :-) Just looking for experiences with UPP and a turbo vs blower dillema. There were many posts about it, but many things depend on the specific set being used (eg. turbo lag.). That's why am asking.

The base turbos in the UPP kit will make your power goals and spool quickly, full boost around 4k! Your torque will be substantially higher with the UPP kit vs a blower at the boost level it will take to make 800ish (around 15-18 )

I have the UPP kit on mine with a cam and stock block. Only running 6 psi and have 525whp and 540wtq on pump has only. Your goal should be done easily and they spool very quickly! I don't even notice lag. Only problem I have is keeping traction.

That's good info.
Basic setup making great torque and power.

Considering the fitment challenges these vettes have, UPP has definitely put together a great option.
I'll certainly consider this kit when I get back in the modding game.

One more thing to add. CK at UPP will take care of his customers. Doesn't matter if you have an install question, bad part, or any random inquiry about your car. He will help you above and beyond and that's hard to find. Anyone considering his kit should know that before buying, and to me that's a great thing to know when shopping around.

This is very true, I can vouch for that as well.

Agreed, I had a faulty wastegate and CK swapped it out very quickly.
