AmericanRacingHeaders "Tech Support" thread; C5FI/aka Heavy Hitter section...........
Guys, wanted to create a thread in the C5FI section to help out anyone with questions regarding the ARH systems.
I've been here on the forum since 2003, and have now transitioned down to Long Island full time to work with the ARH team.
If your in the NY/Long Island area please call or stop by to check out the new shop..........it is HUGE, 30,000sq feet, 4 lifts, it's a very impressive operation.
Jay's C5 running 8.30's
Here's Digivex Dave's 8 second C5, I'll be posting up other ARH equipped C5's as time goes on.

Like I said in your other thread, after installing ARH's on my Silverado last weekend, I now have AR headers on every vehicle I own.
Thanks for a great product guys.

I've been very happy with the ARH setup; even have EGT sensors in em and ran 3" from headers to the rear. May change that up a little this winter, but the headers stay

We were removing a few things such as the Alky Control system, the PLX guage package (boost and AFR), AEM Methanol Failsafe system, etc.
We also removed the Haltech Analog WB2 and associated wiring into the ECU. In its place, we installed a new Haltech CAN based WB02 along with a dual AFR gauge and new 02 sensors. We then upgraded the ECU to v13 firmware and wired in some ignition advance controls, etc.
We're also pulling the PCS D200 Dash and replacing it with a new RacePak IQ3 2Gb GPS/G-meter Logger Dash
At the same time, we removed the rear backup camera The switch for that will be used to control the new A/W pump. I believe that Chiseled is fabricating the tank for me now.
We also ran wires for the Haltech to individually control the cooling fans and water pump versus control via the stock PCM. At the same time, we removed wiring from the ECU that was setup to control a wastegate solenoid. And, were checking the wiring from the ECU to the idle control stepper motor.
We then added some additional heavy gauge 20 amp lines to assist voltage rise time on the coils (this is experimental for use with MSD coils)
The dash itself was getting old... So, we ordered a replacement. It's tough to cut them around a roll cage and keep the aesthetic value.
Just a few tweaks here and there before we start doing the same to the engine compartment

Le Mans Master
ARH here
Ran 1 7/8 headers for years, putting down 1k with a 364
Switched to 2" ARH for more top end (8,000 rpm) power band
Another big plus for me is- Made in USA

been running ARH 1 7/8" with my TVS for 2.5yrs now & they're awesome. catted 3" X with a 2.5" axle pipe flange. screams like a banshee with the cutouts open since the sizing step-down increases exit velocity.
easy install & definitely got an amazing deal on them - the guys there stand by their product & their word

Well , first of all, my C5 Z has the tr6060 and C6 diff, my catback was cut and modified, and never really liked it. I have American 1 7/8" headers , and decided to try a different mod. I have the well in the trunk cut out, and a flat floor installed. I purchased the back half of a 3"C6 Z06 X-pipe from ARH, and had it welded to the front half of the ARH C5 Z06 X-pipe, the gutted cat was cut at 3" diameter, and now have a full 3" exhaust to a 3" C6 Z06 B&B fusion cat back with valves.
Car has not been started yet. I am going to start a thread later on it.
Should perform great, full 3" straight to the rear

Best arguement I can use is I had two C5's one I sold one I kept, the headers I chose to keep between the kooks and ARH 1 7/8" headers.........well the kooks I dumped stupid things only ever came out when I dropped the entire engine and subframe.........such a nightmare to work around. Besides the fact Nick and the guys at ARH have always been beyond helpful whenever I needed. George and the kooks crew..........screwed friends on custom in-shop jobs, screwed friends on other jobs........glad they left the NY scene. Let them go burn bridges in whatever craphole they moved to.
