I think with the right car setup he could run 9s with that intake. The car already makes enough power to run the appropriate ET he just can't 60 foot the car. Cuz he has no suspension or tire.

only if you put that heat sink pos on Jays car then it would go 9:99.9 in the 1/4.

I run 9s on stock suspension and a 10'' wide M/T tire

The key is the 10" wide mt tire. Clown has a 19" 345 nitto drag radials which well to br quite Frank are Probsbly the worst dr out there besides the BFG DRs Also u run 9s with quite a bit more power. Im sure your car 60 foots better than clowns too.

Clowns car dont 60 worth a poop. It is what it is. It makes the power to run 9s though. I think he ran his best time (the low 10 second pass) on a homemade drag pack and less power than he has now.

Below is a vid of my car from 11/23 (below), just before we began taking it apart. Took this to show that everything was working. Car ran 8.694 @ 149.03 on this setup with a 1.247 60'

Winter rebuild should improve those numbers a bit and make the car Legal to run in some events we missed last year.

Here's a partial list of what's coming off and may eventually go up for sale. I think I will be keeping the body, seats, steering wheel, the Haltech ECU (upgraded a bit), the block, the radiator, the fuel system, throttle body, headers, rims and tires

Some stuff from the Engine Area:

ECS Paxton Novi 2500 Supercharger system with ECS A/A inter-cooler, brackets, 10-rib pulleys (2.75 & 3.0), frame, plumbing / J-tube and charge tune, BOV, Wastegate, etc (basically a complete ECS Novi 2500 S/C setup for C5)- Also have a set of three restrictor plates, unless we can use these with the YSI

Complete (ready for install) AFR ported LS Heads with Yellow terra rockers

ECS Big Blower Cam

Set of 8 Injector Dynamics ID1000 injectors

Aeromotive Fuel Rails

FAST LSXr 102mm intake manifold

chrome plated C5 alternator

Alky Control dual nozzle Methanol System with two pumps and two sets of nozzles (two M15 and two M10 nozzles) - with new check valve / filters

Possible the Coils (although may want to keep these as backup)

Some Electronics:

AEM Failsafe Methanol gauge system with brand new AEM flow sensor and filter

Haltech Analog Dual wideband 02 with two AFR 02 sensors

PLX Devices combo AFR Boost gauge with DM 100 gauge and remote control

PCS D200 Dash ( http://www.powertraincontrolsolutions.com/product/D200/ )

AEM Boost Controller solenoid (possibly AEM Boost controller / gauge too)

Possibly: Gtech Pro EGS tachometer with Progressive shift light and Accelerometer Module: http://www.gtechpro.com/egs.html

Some stuff from the Suspension / Drivetrain:

Drag Ready, Fully Built, C5 3.73 Rear Differential, (like new - used only for Bowling Green), built by ECS with 500M shafts, DTE Billet Pinion Bearing Support, DTE Billet Side Cover, ECS spool kit

ECS adapters and Powerglide out shaft to convert PG to C5 rear

Pfadt carbon Fiber Drive Shaft for C5

Rear lower control arms with Pfadt bearings pressed in

Pfadt Coil over shocks (front and rear... fronts include both Drag and Street springs)

Pfadt Race Engineering rear Heavy Rate Sway Bar

Pfadt C5 rear differential Brace

ECS transmission Brace

ECS axle / half shaft safety loops

Possibly also for sale: ECS torque tamer (not certain yet)

Some Body type stuff:

Set of C5 rear Qtr panels (black)

C5 body side moldings (black)

Stock C5 Steering Wheel

Stock C5 Windshield Wiper system
