This is not the way a shop should treat a customer, but I can relate to your story. Not too long ago, I had a similar experience with this same tuner. In fact, I felt intimidated by the owner to the point where I'm obviously not comfortable posting my real name.
I'm relatively new to this hobby, but if this is commonplace here, it will be short lived for me.

Only way I know to eliminate all of that is by doing the work yourself. Only finger that can be pointed then is in the mirror. It's not for everybody though.

I know you had a bad experience, and that's no good. I do think though that in general most of the time the BAD is all you tend to hear about with respect to shops. Kind of like the news channels... Obviously there will be some good reports, but the bad is the majority.

I just want to make it clear (since my name is in the title of this thread) that though everything is taking longer than I expected, I still believe I will receive the end product that I desire. I think the only thing Scotty (A/C man) meant by posting this thread is that things are taking longer than normal and I don't really have any legitimate updates. I think this thread is more to poke at me for having such an introverted attitude toward my "Build/car". Scotty knows that I've been through hell with the whole situation with my car and he's pretty much saying that I'm taking it better than most. Lol. All this in a friendly way of course) :-)
I do bitch about things from time to time but usually in private to a very select few.

I agree but its good to have some insight on how shops work. For example my car is getting a ton of work done at A&A (Supercharger Install, Cam, Springs, Coilovers, Axles, Electrical, Clutch, cleanup, and tune) and its A&A so they are always busy! Car been there 2 1/2 weeks and thats with a ton of unexpected things popping up. Andy and Josh have been in constant contact with me and have been amazing. Most of you know my RPM experience (the thread was deleted and I was given a reprimanding.) But all in all down to the core of it I think its good for us to see how shops work with others before we invest $10,000+ into projects. Just my two cents for what its worth!

I've stated before (not necessarily in anything related to my build) communication is huge!! So is Perception. If there's no communication then perception becomes even more of a reality.

The TRUTH HURTS I guess.
Like I told my buddy, I wouldn't trust anyone to build a race car that doesn't sponsor one (that wins also would help).

You guys are harsh.
On a serious note I did speak with Charlie. Today in fact. He informed me that my car is in the assembly area. He wants to slightly tweak the fitment of the ECS intercooler. He said he expects to have the engine back in the engine bay by Thursday.
