Default Congrats Joe DeDona. New member of the 7 second club.

Just wanna throw out a huge Congrats! to Joe DeDona.

This is the first year with the car. Joe got his license just months ago. We've battled issues with the car from the start. It has seemed like an uphill battle all along. We finally got all the bugs worked out and had a couple good passes in Atlanta, but this was Joe's first 7 second pass in the seat. We were in Cecil Thursday for testing in preparation for the LSfest and the rest of the LS season. We only had time for 2 passes, and Joe made the second one count.

Big thanks to everyone who has helped out along the way.

Mark (Tirecraft) for putting the car together.

TJ for helping out, and wheeling it at the previous events.

Justin (GMHT) for the coverage.

Neil Chance for the converter support.

Kevin Smalley for the continued support.

Steve Morris for his support.

I'm sure I've missed a few and I apologize if I have.

We're pretty optimistic for what lies ahead. With a new blower, and a new motor for next year, the car should be very competitive. A few more laps with Joe behind the wheel, and he should be comfortable enough to give the LSX DR guys some hell.

GO JOE!!!

I was told the day would come when 7.8's was slow. Is it here already? Congrats Joe!
Surprised Jay Mcardle isn't there yet. I guess he hasn't put enough mods on his kit yet.

See you fellas in BG.

There's a lengthy build thread in this section somewhere. Do a search. It's badass!!

Thank you all for the interest and well wishes.

Sorry to disappoint, but this video doesn't have the 10 minute choreographic introduction of my previous video. I'm sure you guys will be upset.

That car is nasty. One of the nicest builds I ever seen. Wow props to the team who made it all happen, and to the tuners who dialed it in. What trans are you running? For some reason I thought it was a glide.

We hit 51 PSI going through the traps.

There is a substantial launch retard on that test pass. Doesn't go to commanded timing until 2 seconds after TB release.

If you listen closely you can hear the engine start waking up around 2 seconds into hit.

What class/classes are you looking to compete in ?? I remeber talking to you last year and you were wanting to run x275....is that still the game plan ??
Also, any LSX classes that you plan on being a regular in ??

Again, congrats on a killer looking and performing C5 !!!
