Default 800 whp stock block club

Well guys I just got back from the dyno....I was going for the stock block LS1/LS6 record which I believe is held by Unleashed Performance. Last I checked they were making 811 whp. Unfortunately after checking again today it seems like they are up to 840 whp so I might have to go back and see if I can take that from them.

Anyway here are the results....sorry for the crappy pic

816 whp / 650 tq

Switched to the Ysi, I did use to have a T-trim. 3.125" pulley, 16.5 psi

Rotating assembly is exactly how it left Bowling Green

Awesome! I hope it lives a good while. If it does that will give me the courage to pulley down this V3 Si again.

Rob Raymer owned the vette that was unleashed's show car last year. Rob no longer is associated with unleashed nor is the car. He sold it to a friend that lives out in the midwest who drag races it, street races, and even takes it on a road course, very frequently to. The vette is still making 840hp and did 839hp when the new owner got it home. We are all waiting on that little motor to let go but she is fighting back hard.

i hope when i put my z06 on e85 that my motor holds up as well as that one has.

back on topic, those are some serious numbers, congrats and it would be awesome if you could beat the numbers with a supercharger.

Torque is low because the timing is on the conservative side. Thanks for all the compliments guys

Congrats man, impressive and daring guy i salute ya, assume you have already spare block ready to go or prepared for.

Good thing you tune yourself and using E85, i want to see if it holds after track visit....hahah.

I dont know what year pistons you have now, as i have few damaged pistons including newest from GM which i been informed they are from 04 Z06 have dry film on side skirts....well i hammered both old (01 Z06) and 04 z06 pistons....04 Z06 holds pretty good took me a few more hammers to break that thing.

Looks like it is picking up steam up top. You could just spin it a couple hundred rpm more and surpass 840. Maybe 7k could get you 900 if it holds together. Nice numbers.
