Hopefully soon Rick, I was reading your other thread going for that 1000hp goal here soon?

Well I'm officially on 2hrs 36min of sleep. Going to drop the boy off to school, go get something to wake up and start on the fuel stuff. Hopefully the IC piping won't hit snags looks like I have plenty of room for a 3"

I figured it out on the fp..see where those two slots are. well there is a lip you have to get over. SO you have to put a hook under and pull up hard and one side pops out of the lip then you do the same to the other side and voila..I fubared the stocker anyone want a free pump tp mess with?

Maybe it's common knowledge or maybe I am a idiot... but I searched and seen nothing. Even A&A instructions say "Remove the pump and discard. Put the clamp over the hose and connect on the new pump. Use a pair of dikes to crimp the clamp on the hose"

I was pulling up on the FP which broke the plastic. I had to sit and think for a bit and called and asked a few people but no one really knew. But I documented it in another thread so if someone has the same issue they won't look like a money ****ing a football like I was...

I don't know what that red thing is for...Anyone

This is what you pull up on and pull up I mean put some muscle into it..More gym less beer is what I need..

Add this to the other **** I broke...I'm having fun so oh well I know for next time.

Damn another snag but how does this fp sit inside with that big o filter sock?See the difference? The stocker has the filter with that rubber piece which fits inside the bottom of the canister. The aem has that big sock which doesn't fit..What do I need to do here??

Here is where the black rubber piece fits inside for the stock one

So here you see the stocker has the rounded filter then the filter goes on then that rubber piece snugs that in then that gets dropped into the housing and sits in that spot..Can't do that with the aem..

It's supposed to be identical to the walbros which is what the stockers are but it's not identical...

Well here is what I came up with or I should say my roommate. I got the sock on the aem to kinda go into that hole where the stocker is. We took off the rubber piece. Mashed it down with the sock on it and enclosed it. It's nice and snug. My question is....is that ok? It doesn't need to be sealed down in that area like the stocker since it will always be submerged in fuel?

Glad you are doing first. . I still have to hook up my meth kit, Racetronix harness, BAP, And fuel pump.
Waiting for new silicone tubing to complete my upgrades and get it running again. I have a full tank of fuel to burn before tackling the FP.

It is a Racetronix setup, same as a Walbro I believe. Have not started, need to get my tubing reconfigured so I can drive car, and get the fuel low. I will probably do the Alky Control first.

You probably know, buti wouldn't install the bigger injectors until you are at the tuners. Just stay out of boost, that is what I plan.

Yeah I'm going to get a base tune so I can drive it over. I already installed them. Will be fine for the drive there..

Alrighty, I had a little time on lunch break to I ran home really quick.

Got the fp going back in

I start tightening everything down and going to start on the casper fuel harness and notice this....Shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit!!!!!! Ooooops

So I will address that later..Now to wiring the Caspers fuel wiring harness. It was 49 shipped so I was happy with that. Install is pretty basic..Look at the first pic a few above you just connect the end to the stock stuff

Start removing the (8) 7mm screws..

Then pull this guy out..

And you should see this..

Bottom left where rocker panel goes..

Then head to the front driver side and again there are (8) 7mm bolts

You should see this..

I used a tape measure to fish the wire through..

Here it is coming out the driver rear...

Tape up..

Pull through..

I ran it through by the frame above the brake booster..

I just attached it to the coil pack so it looks clean..

Route the wire to the alternator and you are pretty much done..

That's all I have until later this week when I start the gauges.

You should not drive it with the larger injectors without tuning for them.

It's a good way to ef up all your hard work.

You should put the stockers back in for the drive and stay out of boost.

Only take about 20 mins.
