Sounds like a great set up. I would be interested in knowing more about the engine. Was it a custom build or a engine package? What are the parts? Who did the work?

I built the engine my self, it is an original ls1 block with Lunati 383 strokerkit and ls2 oil pan kartech oil pump, double roller timing chain, cam is 231/239 lsa 115 with 1.85 rockers, the heads are AFR 215cc, intake manifold is a Edelbrock Pro-Flo xT and exhaust is 1 7/8 with race cats, compression is 11-1 and I pull it to 6600rpm and A & A supercharger kit with a Vortech V3 Si with 3.4 inch pulley and Bosch 1000cc injectors and methanol injection, the harmonic balancer. is an 7.5 inch superdamper. and the boost is 8 psi, the fuel is E85. I am very pleased with the effect of the engine and the sound it performs, I know that there is more power in there, I have only 14 degrees timing on top, but I am satisfied so ........

Thanks!!

Excuse me, but there was little wrong with the torque, in europe we measure the torque in newton meters, and in the U.S. will you measure in ft-lb, so the correct torque should be 642 wtq

he wasn't actually doubting your credibility, it's just an expression meaning that it's so awesome

but i was also thinking lb-ft at first & almost asked if somehow your top end was either being choked or all the timing being pulled... but then i saw NM in the video & it made sense

Very true I was not doubting the credibility at all. I didn't take into consideration that your numbers were probably in newton meters as opposed to foot pounds.

After reading my post and the expression I gave I can see how someone could read it and take it in a literal sense and think that I'm calling the torque numbers bogus but that was not my intention with that expression. In fact it was quite the opposite. in the U.S. 99% of the time when we say that something is incredible we simply mean that it is awesome, or great or fantastic. maybe even bitchin.. My apologies for any misunderstanding.

Either way wheather its newton metars or foot pounds its still impressive.

Very nice build.

damn awesome tq wonder how much that intake had to do with that. Any pics with the hood closed? Does it flex much at speed?

Thank you all
This with the measurement of the torque was my own fault
Here is a page with the supercharger building and with pictures of the hood closed, I have test driven the car at 190mph on track and there is no flex in the hood

Compression is awesome, and sounds like you have the fuel to keep it safe. That's a big intake for a 383, 1150cfm blower. What cam are you running and how's the drivability. Great power for, 8 psi.

I love seeing Foreigners build these cars, since our cars are "cheap, plastic and outdated with leaf springs". Awesome job!

Thank you
the cam is a 231/239 LSA115 the engine run smooth like stock but I have unfortunately sabotaged driveability with a Tilton race clutch (weight 18LBS) it does not work: (, it must be replaced in the winter to an RPS street twin carbon clutch

Go with the RPS triple carbon if you have the finances. It will give you room to grow as far as power is concerned.

Nice!

Did Anders from Vette.se tune it? I guess someone else did it, but it's kind of hard to see from the video.

Greetings from Finland, by the way. It's always nice to see someone from the neigbour countries to make some posts in this forum. I wonder where's your countryman rocco sifredi now (not the famous one, but the one who was using the same nickname here in this forum). I think he had an yellow C5 cab with cog drive and YSi many years ago...

hi Pekka
Yes it is really nice to see a neighbor on this forum
I have not heard of anyone Rocco Sifredi but I know there are some C5 cab with over 1000whp any town in Sweden, that's all I know .....
It's not Anders on Vette.se (Rtune) having tune it, there is a Roger on Motor North who tune it, it is located in northern Sweden where I live
