Default Electric Water Pump w/ A&A Bracket

Thinking about buying an EWP to fight the summer heat. Do all A&A brackets (even the newer style ones) require modification for a 55gpm EWP to fit?

Yes, nothing a dremel can't take care of though.

I read somewhere on the forum the newest bracket they make works without modification.

Here is a link to one I sold that was modified. You can see form the pics.

Mine did - and I think A&A will let you know that if you should call -

It's a bummer because it sure slows down progress!

Thanks,Matt

I had to have one standoff be adjusted when I switched to an electric pump.

The latest version of the C5 A&A bracket clears the Meziere EWP without modification needed.

The C6 bracket will not fit a Meziere EWP, only the C5 bracket.

Thats not exactly correct. I think they changed up it after the latest one came out. My bracket didn't clear and its the latest, but i bought it 1.5 years ago or so. I circled where i had to grind down on it some..you could also grind on the water pump.

I'm curious about that because it appears that what you circled is on the opposite side and opposite end of the bracket from the WP.

Is this near where the thermostat housing sticks out?

it was by the housing, but not on it..it was hitting on the pump housing itself. lie i said, it was 1.5 years ago..if not a little long.. i cant really remember.. but it didn't just fit right on... but I took off the EW anyways.. mechanical one works much better and flows more when i need it...Ill look tomorrow, i have the pump sitting on a shelf and a spare bracket as well.. things are still crazy around here..
