Default Gear slammers, how far have you pushed your setup?

Just curious how far you have pushed your clutch and driveline, what failed?, how long did it take?, what were you doing to cause the failure?

11yrs stock output shaft pass side finally let go on a 4500rpm clutch slip outta the hole with a 150 shot (diff fully built otherwise). Otherwise its held up to several years of track and land speed passes. McLeod RXT and Dynotech stg 3 diff with Rpm stage 4.5+ 6 speed.

bone stock took me around road atlanta for a couple days, a few weekends around a 'private track' in FL, and a ton of street playing. that was while putting down anywhere from 480/473 to 535/540 from my TVS blower. the key is being gentle with it because i know it'll just spin the clutch trying to side-step 3rd from a 40 roll.

5k RPM clutch dump. Actually drove home fine, and broke the next day on the street. Pretty sure the damage was done at the track.

Yep the previous owner to my turbo set-up sheered his main output shaft in 2 just like that. Was pushing about 700HP on a stock tranny.

I ran several 10.40s-10.50s passes with 1.50 60s with stock drivetrain,ls7 clutch and diff brace and never broke anything.I lost a sycro in 3rd and pulled out tranny to find my output shaft was cracked like the broke one in the pics above, never broke into just cracked. One more launch and it would have give out.Iknew what my goals were so I upgraded to c6z and sold my c5 setup so I could recoop some money.
