I like this build. ~Budget friendly with money spent in all the right places. 
Where are the knock sensors in your current motor? Mine being an LS2 I had to find places for the new style knock sensors to bolt onto the side of the LQ block, kinda ghetto. Then get an LS6 valley pan. Lastly I had to get a dummy crank sensor to plug the hole in the rear as mine is in the front cover.
I used to have a favorite for some site that had all the bolts for the LS motors in a chart but I can't find it.

I was going to do that (convert to old style knock sensors) but I was worried that the attack/sensitivity tables would not be accurate for them. But the new style sensors just kind of attached to the block with whatever holes I could find is probably not accurate either.

Doug dont get him going again man. 
You or still going to put that thing what ever you called it, in his motor that will when you hit a switch it will start his car to back fire all the time correct.. Dont forget it when you do his tune on it and just send me the bill.

RobertI guess I'll go with a 2500 Novi with a full 8 rib, and throw in a glide with all the trimmings while we are at it, spindles and a radiator for the hell of it!

I cranked my AES 390 a few weeks ago. She ran great for 200 miles then I started having clutch issues so the driveline is back out, and clutch is back at McLeod for inspection. For sure a great bang for the buck build. Good luck!

Did AES tap out that boss for a flip drive for you? I don't even know if you have a flip drive?

I plan to go to the track this summer and see what the car can do! I sold my Drag pac last summer so I will need to find some tires

i don't know how you guys do it on the street. if i get into my car just a little its all over the place. granted my street tires are 345/25/20s. i just prefer 1/4 over anything else.
