So that is the stuff I am talking about, it is about making the cars drive like they are stock no matter how much HP is in them. This isn't about race cars that run WOT, this is about street cars making serious HP. Look you may be cool if you have a 8 second street legal car that makes 1000+hp and you can drive it to the track. How cool are you when your wife or girlfriend is in it and it keeps cutting off on you in traffice or doesn't want to idle after it gets heat soaked. Not looking to cool then, all of this will help those guys.
As far as the software, EFILive is way more powerful than what most have realized. The key to the door is there, you just have to know how to find it.

Best data- leave stock injectors in.
As an engineer I see all the points. As a tuner stuck tuning these cars I see alot more ways to tune a car in and get the best of both worlds.

Amen to that one Don!
Whole different world now, which is good, but many don't realize what it took to have a stock PCM 9 second car then. Which is probably why there was only a few of them, and way over built by todays standards to get it there.

A boosted Fox body must for the eec4 back in the day was the BEGI FMU. Getting the small needle air bleed set just right to match fuel curve to boost curve was the ticket.

Quick question. I currently only need 1000s for my E85 car but am thinking about getting the 1200s so I have more room to grow. Will the bigger injector hurt my idle much once I tune it? I am hearing great things about these injectors!

Burning Brakes
Thought I would kick this back up. Started up my 402TT less than a week ago, and idles like a champ even with the 243/251 cam in it. Using the 1200's, with supplied data. Once I get to part throttle tuning, etc. i'll report back. But 1200's idling this well, i'm confident they'll perform well.
