Default HPS 10sec C5 Streetcar

Towards the end of last year HPS had a customer bring us his newly purchased used C5 Corvette that had a few mods. His C5 is N/A and had a camshaft with a torque converter and long tube headers with stock C5 Z06 Muffler System and drove ok and ran mid 11's in its current form. The customer had stated he wanted a true street 10sec corvette he could drive to the track, race and drive home RELIABLY. Here is the mod list :

Stock LS1 Shortblock
LS6 Heads
Upgraded Valve Train
Torque Converter Spec'd for Nitrous
RPM Stage 5 4L60E
RPM Upgraded Differential
Nitrous Outlet Progressive Nitrous Controller
Nitrous Outlet Wet Kit (100 Shot)
Professionally Installed by HPS
Professionally Tuned by HPS ( Drivability,WOT on DYNO)

With these modifications, the customer drove to the track and raced his car, and then drove home happy. Needless to say he is solidly in the 10's and after our street tune had a increase in 5mpg. on the way to the track.

I'd venture to guess, 5-6 good runs.
