Default Install of top shroud of A&A SC??

Good day everyone. Would I need to install the top shroud cover on an A&A SC kit in order to complete the kit or could it be installed later easily?

I have seen some not running them but what I was asking is can I install it later? My installer said he needed it to install my kit because he said it is upper radiator mount and I would need to disassemble all the plumbing to install it later. Is that correct?

Takes a minute to take on and off. Yes you want it. Call A&A for details or PM Frank

When you say it takes a minute...literally? Here is the scenerio. I took all the parts to my installer (whom is about 1.5 hrs away from me) and left the car. I didn't think he was going to need the top shroud so I left it at home and figured I would just slip it on after I got the car back.

He emailed me yesterday and told me he needed it to be able to install the kit my kit because he said it is upper radiator mount and I would need to disassemble all the plumbing to install it later. Is that correct?

It slips around the silicone tubing.

I do have the instructions but in the instructions it states that you install the top shroud and then you install the piping that goes from the IC to the throttle body and then you proceed with the installation.

it all depends where he puts your maf.. if its up by the throttle body the cover will slip right into place.
on my setup i have the maf closer to the intercooler which makes it so i have to disassemble all the tubing before i can install the cover

Either way it's not a huge deal.

BTW, if you plan on running meth, have the MAF (if you are running one) installed as far down as possible.
