So I've gotten a couple track days with this fan controller. I had been getting a bit hot with so much boost on and off all around the track.
This year I have been using the fan controller to make the fans stay on full for the entire run on the track and in the paddock for 10 mins or so after I turn the engine off. On the track I didn't get near overheat, coming off with the final slow down cool off round I was well down in the normal cool range. I ran it 10 mins with the engine off then turned the engine on to circulate the now cooler water and am down to 190 degrees easily.
For track use for me it is very effective.

No, I pull the intake and the cover plate so I could se some of the cam lobes. could only see the rear three and front three lobes and they look good. Also swopped rear rockers with the front to see if noise move but it didnt change. The noise completely goes away when its warmed up. Ive been driving it quit a bit and its not getting worse so I dont think it the cam/lifters. I'll keep searching.
