Going to sell my transmission cooler and get one without a fan and one that will fit behind the IC.

Why did you go with the external controller when the PCM does a fine job of controlling the trans?

From rodney at rpm
The swap using a factory PCM to control the transmission has been done many times by us and others. It does require more wiring and a fresh start on a tune. The PCS box is a nice piece that is very user friendly and is a very fast controller. The tuning on the transmission is MUCH simplier with the PSC box as it only looks at TPS,RPM and Vechicle Speed. There is no shift times, torque management,etc.... We use the PCS boxes for all of the C6 Z06 swaps, same box for a 4L60E as a 4L80E. When you start dealing with the factory PCM the trans line pressure is controlled from calculate torque and when you start running big injectors and funky scaling you can run into isuues that will cause transmission faliure. The PCS box eleminates all of this.

danieloneil01-if you are running the pcs controller your only gonna hook up 12v switched, ground, tps, tach, and vehicle speed sensor, the rest you wont use

What about the 2 switches that were on the clutch? I'm guessing one is for the start and the other for cruise?

Get a piece of flat steel and make your brackets.

Those brackets are to attach to the front radiator. Mine won't fit there so it needs to go inside the bumper cover behind the air duct.

Okay, I made my own and am I by no means a fabricator. It doesn't move much pushing on it but it does flex a bit which I don't think is a bad thing. I put the bumper cover back on and it fits but the bottom will need to be trimmed a bit.

Do you mean just tie the 2 wires together? What switch is this btw, cruise control disable?

Details please

Anyone have the wiring schematic to wire up my tranny controller? I need RPM, TPS and Vehicle speed. It would be greatly appreciated. If not I'll wait for my book.

In order to have your reverse lights work they need to be hooked up to your neutral safety switch (4 wires) purple and yellow off clutch pedal and the 2 off the orange weird looking connector that plugged into your 6 speed trans, cut the connector off and run the wires to it.

i got them from under the dash or you can get them from the pcm. a quick search on here should pull up a lot of locations to hook up from
vehicle speed i hooked up to one of the wires that connect into the diff.

Bear with me. The weird looking connector that plugged into my 6 speed won't be used for the auto swap at all? I don't want to hack it up then have to use it later when I get the auto installed. I won't be using a auto harness or RPM jumper harness. Just the stand alone controller while retaining my manual harness. Doing what you mentioned will still cancel cruise control while hitting the brakes? And also retain every function as if it came like this from the factory? Sorry if I come off dumb but I is to this stuff.

I think getting it from the PCM may be easier but I will search here for the best place. Thank you

None of those sensors that plugged into the trans will be used with the auto. Yes cruise and everything will be good.

Call Rodney ar rpm tomorrow and ask where to hook up tps vss rpm if I remember right they need to hook up to certain places.

Will do. If he can tell me exactly where, then I'll hook it up tomorrow. Then all I'll have left is getting the fittings for the cooler. Finding where to hook up the wires for that, then last but not least, getting the auto from RPM.

If anyone is able to get this length while the car is together and in park I would appreciate it. I don't know how forgiving it is where the bracket is but this would get me spot on I think. I have it connected to the gear shifter with the shifter installed. The distance in the pic would tell me exactly how far the bracket should be in relation to the shifter level.

Also the correct TPS signal wire is DK BLU Pin 1 on the TAC module? Both these modules are located behind the passenger front wheel?

Okay got confirmation from Jeremy. Should be pretty easy to install now Going to find the wires inside the cabin so I can have the PCS box inside the car and most likely behind the drivers seat since I have a amp behind the passenger seat.

Okay, I got the PCS controller installed and have a email to Jeremy but anyone have their RPM way off like mine? Wideband isn't hooked up btw.

Also, does this bracket look like it's in the right spot?
