Opinions on Best Complete Clutch Setup
Looking for your opinion on parts top to bottom, my car might make 700rwhp or so.
Should I go with factory master and slave cylinders?
I already bought the speed bleeder for the slave.
If I have to replace the clutch which one should I go with and anything else while I am in there?
I have been experiencing a grinding when hard accelerating from stop in first gear only. No problems shifting into gears at any speeds or downshifting. Any ideas?
Thank you!

Melting Slicks
McLeod RXT, very nice pedal pressure and will easily hold the power.
I have a Textralia OZ700 HD Zgrip. It holds like a champ, but kinda wish I put the McLeod in now.

1- Tick Adjustable Master + Slave + Bleeder mandatory whatever the clutch
2- Twin Disc Clutch, per budget:
a. McLeod RXT/RST+Billet Flywheel for lower dollars but awesome performance
b. RPS Carbon if you have the extra $$$. That said, I haven't seen anybody going from the McLeod Twin to the RPS Carbon so I'm not sure if you need to spend the cash at your power level. No doubt somebody will jump in and explain why the RPS Carbon is better.
If you contact Tick Performance and tell them you want a full clutch+hydraulics package they should be able to put together a sweet deal on the whole package.
I'm at 550whp with McLeod RST and aluminum flywheel, the lighter flywheel also made a big positive difference in the dynamics of the car. I'm really happy with this setup.

-Your choice of HD Clutch/Flywheel, as above. Replace the slave while you're in there.
Anything else and you're just asking for problems, especially at 700whp.
This is not the place to save money. Watch this video to see what happens when a clutch fails on a high-HP car. Pay special attention to the pieces of shrapnel stuck in the dash and the hole next to the driver's foot:

IDM, My buddy has the SPEC P-Trim Super Twin Clutch 1395 and he has had no problems with it and it holds the power. I actually have one on my car as well but I have gone a different route. Im selling mine...

I don't expect it to last forever but I have been making 650ish whp for a while now on a stock clutch. I go wot all the time but I don't bang gears or launch too often.

I've got a local project Z06/AA Strim/Julio meth/Kinder tune making about 600 wheel
2004 LS6 slave, stock LS6 master; Green monstah clutch
Car has been driven about 5000 miles since April, sees full throttle 2/3/4 pulls a few days/week
I only swap a few dozen clutches per year behind FI mills, prolly better to hear from Doug/ECS or Andy/AA

I run a Tick, that I like a lot. A speed bleeder, that should have been on these cars from the factory. I have a Spec Super Twin that needs service/rebuild, I have found Specs customer service to be awful, and have given up on them. I'm going back to McLoed, always had good experiences dealing with them.

OP I'd recommend our Level 3 Premium kit with 28lb billet flywheel that is good to 700rwhp, if you have plans for more then I'd step up to the Level 5. Feel free to contact me with any questions you may have, thanks.

How's the pedal effort/takeup on that Monster? I almost went that direction but ended up dropping the extra cash on the McRST Twin.
