Well the F-14 is down while Rodney fixes my 4L60E. I decided to replace the couplers in my Torque tube. When I started to open up the tube, check out what I found

All this black powdered rubber came out the tube!

Then I got the couplers removed;

I guess this is what they call just in time maintenence!!

I am glad I did not go to my dyno appt with these couplers in there

No, I put in new GM. They have held up so far. The car Made 571RWHP and 633RWTQ on just 10lbs of boost with 1 3/4' headers!.

It is a blast to drive and has done 10.5x @ 127 W/ 1.44 60'
We will turn up the boost again this year because I do not Daily drive it anymore.

Probably a lot of fun to drive around with all that instant torque.

now with a real set of headers on that beast, a little more head work, and a more aggressive tune & you should be singing way into the 600s...

but i know, i know - that ain't what you were going for

Jason you crack me up. I did change the headers last summer, ARH 1 7/8". Still 1 3/4" Corsa's though. I also have a 102 NW TB and I need to port my TVS bloweer snout to match. Go back to the 3" pulley and see what it do!
Still not the 800rwhp animal you would have!

and realistically-speaking, unfortunately my car's probably done as-is.
the past year that i've been with my (now) wife, i ain't got to spend a dime on my stuff.

Very nice!!
I don't drive my C5 on the street at all anymore.
I put a UPP twin turbo on it and had nothing but problems with it, so I removed the whole setup, sold a couple pieces, trashed the rest, and chalked it up to $6000 mistake!!

I have decided to make it a full time track car. Going to run it this year with just the motor and a 150 shot. I will leave the 5 point that I got from you guys in it this year and should be good. My daughter (18) wants to drive it this year too, so after a year of her getting comfortable we will add a custom turbo setup next year. Then I will need a full cage.
