668 hp 630 tq on mine at 11psi, all stock except mellings oils pump. 5 years running at this level. Saw over 700hp during dyno tune but decided to stay at 11 psi.

Nice motor, did you drive your car hard, drag strip, slicks? I am pretty easy on my car and don't go to 6000 to often. That is why I am thinking of the 700 mark. It just sucks when you don;t know how much time you got!

I figure when mine goes, I cant complain. Ive got more passes with this motor than I ever expected... (~1300) I'm already faster than my bar will allow. So I do not need any more. I am not putting a cage in the car, so why waste my money on a crazy motor. Im just going to forge the bottom end... for now.
Where are you at HP? 700-750? You must have an angel under your hood

Yep! and it helps when Doug is doing the tuning... I just modify to suit whatever class I am racing.

It isnt who has 650 plus, Its who uses it on a regular basis, not just the occasional run through "mexico"!

I am making 605 on 10 lbs and boost juice on a very rich tune afr 10.8ish. As bad as I want to go for heads, more boost, or leaning it out a little cuz I do have room to grow in the tune I think I will wait. I would rather keep it where it is and take my time and build a strong short block. My car sees 6500-6700 rpms on a regular basis

If I were you and had the money to build it my car wouldnt be in the garage it would be getting forged internals

the op sounds like he is caught up in a numbers game more then anything else, if you are at 610 now and only end up with say 635 don't be pissed that you did not meet your goal, i know peole that have pullied down, added meth and bigger fuel pumps to gain a fraction of what they were shooting for, hope your fuel system is up to the task

I am trying to get the most out of my car, thats why we all spend money for the thrill of speed, Tunes are not cheap and if I'm going to lay down $600+, I want to make sure I can get most out of the car provided I have the fuel and the meth to go with it.

And yes I would like a 700HP car, because they don't grow on trees, but if my tuner feels the car will be best at 650, than so be it! At least I tried for it! I just wanted to hear from some guys that have more than 650 and any problems they had!

Thanks and yes a handful of 9's, but mostly low 10's brackets where I'm legal. I use ET street bias plys on a drag pack. I always run full power, and use HPTuners speed limiter to keep under 135mph. So, when are you getting the tuneup?

I'm pushing 600 RW, with only 7.5lbs of boost, with a stock block, and no meth. I do have custom heads, blower cam, but I ditched my FAST, and EWP. My tuner, (Tom Wong) went pretty conservative, but we ran out of FP, with #60injectors, and a Walbro pump, so he added a Magnaspark BAP, and problem solved. I have no intentions of adding more power, and besides, I blew up my T-56 last Weds. doing one gear, and shift run. I'm thinking having Rick@ RKT-56 doing the trans, and diff.

You won't be disappointed dude. He works so fast. He'd prob have your joint done over a weekend. I know he can in 1 day ( the rest is cleaning and checking it over)

I have the stock pulley that came with the kit and I was at 9lbs, but shaved 1/16 off the restrictor plate to give me 10lbs. I would like to go to 12-13lbs and closer to 700hp as long as I have enough fuel and meth to back it up! we'll just have to see if can happen safely without too much worry!

My Novi2000 has 3.5 pulley and Im doing the install now, well waiting for the supercharger to come back for getting a rebuild, but I was going to run it without a restrictor plate. I know if you dont drive real aggressive then 650hp all day is no problem. 700hp now thats a horse of a different color. I say do it, if it blows f**k it put a forged motor in...

THnks, Trip. I'm in no huge hurry. I'm still too weak to R&R the stuff, and after all, I've had the car over 8 yrs. and have yet to reach 20k miles.
