Default whos running oil coolers?

How many guys out there are running them? what brand are you running, and how much do they cost to buy/install. Thanks.

I plan to add one in the radiator when I get my cut down RSD radiator. They have one that uses factory C6 Z51 cooler lines adapted to still use the C5 oil temp sensor.

Anyone that drives their FI car hard on the street/track needs an oil cooler in my opinion. Personally running the biggest Mocal that will fit up front, works great. Depending on you driving habits and geographic location a thermostat might be a good idea.

Haven't done it yet, but plan on it while I'm putting my new motor in this year. Would like to keep my oil temps down.

I haven't needed one for my street/strip use. I see normal about 210, and 230's after some freeway pulls. I could see the need if running hard for extended periods like a road course.

I run a Setrab oil cooler behind one of my Z06 ducts, with a flap of the inner duct angled down to create a larger footprint of air on the cooler. This is tied into my Aviad 12 qt dry sump oil system. My temps stay well in check...

I made my own using the following:

Earl's 13 Row cooler
LPE oil adapter
-10 braided hose
AN fittings

You can get all the above for under $400.
