Default Anyone tried the Deatschwerks DW300 fuel pump?

It appears that EVO guys are making over 600WHP on E85 with this single intank pump!

Has anyone tried to retrofit one of these into the C5 fuel bucket?

Here's a link to what the EVO guys are doing with it:
http://forums.evolutionm.net/evo-dyn...rformance.html

Price is nice, only $170.

Same frame/size as a Walbro GSS342 - is that what is commonly used in C5's?

EDIT: Here is some more technical data on the pump:

The flow specs look very similar to new Aeromotive pump. I wonder if there just rebranding them with this one?

I doubt it. In fact, it might be the opposite. This pump has been out for over a year whereas the Aeromotive just released.

Hey dykz,

Thank you for sharing with the community. We've had a couple DW301's in a few Chevys already.

Had a local tuner put down 900whp on a single turbo C5 running E85 using a pair of DW301 pumps and our DW1300cc universal injectors. Last I've heard a different turbo is going on and they are shooting for 1000whp.

Looks like we've been lurkers on the site for a few years. Now that we have some good fuel related products for the late model domestic cars, probably start seeing us around a bit more.

Have heard good things about your pumps as well as the aeromotive 340 looks like you guys are both making great products. I will be running two of either your 340's or aeromotives with my rsi hat set up. I do like that you guys offer a 3 year warranty

Do you guys have these in stock? I would need 2 of them asap and need them to be the same style as w-255 pumps as thats what I will be replacing. They are the same size and everything correct ?

Thank you! It's nice to hear that good things are being said.

We do have the pumps in-stock.

The DW301's inlet and outlet are inline. The dimensions are posted on the spec sheet above, which are similar to the 342 model of the W255 line.

Is it plug-n-play install? - Ex. pull the fuel pump, open the bucket and slap in the DW-301 or is there some modifying that needs to be done?

What would it take to install it in the C5?

Thanks,Matt

Interesting. Hopefully it will be compatible with early C5 stuff.

Just an fyi I will be needing two of your pumps. I will need the same inlet and outlet as a stock walboro style. I was going to go with the aeromotive cause I had a better deal on them however I just saw on ls1tech that their new pump failed in a car after 2000 miles which is just rediculous and they dont offer a 3 year warranty.

Shoot me a pm and let me know where I need to send the money. As i need them asap

I have their pump and 1000cc injectors on my Evo. I'm only putting 360 to the ground but they're working great for me.
