Sad thing about that is it was a guys girlfriend driving his car. She said my car's exhaust scared the living sh**T out of her and she couldn't even shift.

For the power you are making, change to M15 and M10 nozzles for sure. Tune with the box turned up to 8 and get that meth working for you. And you might as well put a M3 in front of that blower if you really want to get frisky.

Good luck with the re-build, I still need to send my RPM tranny back in for some of those upgrades too.
My mistake, I am running a M10 and M15 currently. My VE table already has a huge trough in it to keep the AFR in the 10s. That YSi is really making some heat pushing 20+ lbs. I'm going to give Julio a call and pick his brain. IAT in the 150 range is way above what I saw with my little S-Trim

Ok, cool. I agree you should be able to get those IAT's down from 158* tho. I just had Julio send me a pre-blower setup using M3 nozzle. Looking at your mph, maybe you could use two M15's and a M3 pre-blower. Let's us know what Julio says.

Sucks losing the trans... Nice run! No doubt the IAT is crazy high. Is your IAT sensor in the meth? I'm thinking the IAT should go down below ambient while it sprays. That's killer you lifted the wheels on a 2600 stall. Transbrake or is the suspension setup that way so you just fart and it goes up?

Very nice Mike! I'm surprised your IAT temps are that hi. I'm spinning my YSi to 74-75k and my IAT temps never go over 100 degrees, and I'm still using a M10 and M15 nozzle like yourself.

Suspension is stock, lowered just a little

I did pull the front sway bar off the car for the firat time, not sure if that makes that much difference though.

I talked to Julio today and he said I should be seeing anything that high. First thing to do is swap the IAT sensor to see if it is bad. I also might need to turn down my initial meth setting on the PAC. He recommended it being close to the 1 o'clock position I think I'm closer to the 3 o'clock or more. Then use the gain to increase the flow if needed (increasing from 7 to 8). I might be using too much meth off the line. At least I have a game plan.

I'll get the tranny off to RPM for an upgrade to a level VII after Thanksgiving.

I had this problem and had a meth pump that was bad. I put a new one on and see about 25 degrees below ambient.
