nope she is running around 185-190 when i am cruising, oil temp is 210*

after a full pull the coolant will go up to 200*, but never went over that so far, oil would go up to 215* and slowly work its way down then.

back from the dead for this thread.

Finally after all summer of dealing w/ belt slip issues, it finally works.

First off a BIG thanks to easyvette for always giving good advice, BlownBlueZ06 for helping tune this thing, 3someC5 for giving me the Flip Drive he won @ Carlisle, Fartpipe for always lending a hand when I need it, plus the forum, there is a wealth of knowledge here and glad to see everyone work together. Even though we bust on each other at times

So today we had a fall dyno day, DynoJet 248. Put my car on the rollers since I have the Flip Drive installed and it has been making a consitant 13# (ATI damper, 3.0 head unit pulley, 6rib) Yea, amazing how well that FD works.

First pull I only did to 6000rpm to make sure I wasn't goin lean, it put down 578/490. Everything looked good so I said "let'er eat!!!" Took it up to 6500 and the fuel pressure started to drop so wasn't goin to take it any higher.

Finally #'s 615/524... Did back to back pulls and both times it was exactly the same. I am happy with that, for no meth, a P1 being over spun, those are some good #'s. My next upgrade HAS to be a fuel system, right now I am only running a 255 w/ a KB BAP. So it's MAXED OUT. you can see in the dyno towards the end the A/F tappered off to 12.0. It was holding 11.2-11.5, but that las 500rpm it just couldn't keep up.

oh yea, if your wondering how that intercooler setup is workign for me. I just checked my HPTuners log. The IAT temps never went over 75*. Now it was a cool day, probally only 60* outside, but I expected them to get ALOT higher from just having that little fan blowing across the intercooler.

Whats are your IAT's when WOT through a few gears or your dyno pull WOT? Im assuming your 75* IAT's mentioned are just cruising around out of boost temps?
My IAT's are always 6-8* over ambient temps when cruising out of boost.

How much boost you running? And your iat's dont go over 75 on the rollers making a pull without meth? Man thats one helluva intercooler you must have on that setup!
I can start out a pull at 75 iat and its up to 120 10 seconds later with no meth. I need my IC in better airflow even tho my front plate area is open the IC isnt directly in front of it.

i stand corrected. my IAT went up to 75* on the way down to the dyno. it was alittle cooler out that morning on the ride down. These are the temps on the rollers.

13# of boost, the intercooler I picked up from Silicone Intakes dot com.

http://www.siliconeintakes.com/produ...3535f9c52cbb2c

Here is the proof. The temps that the dyno recorded.

And my IAT, that is even after we left off the pull.

There was a collective sigh when you didn't spin it the whole way on the first pull (<600whp)

Congrats to see your beast on the road and running strong . Very nice for 3someC5 for giving you the HPE Flip-Drive! We are happy to see the HPE flip-drive has worked for you and solved you belt slippage issues while maintaining consistency at those boost levels. It’s nice to have that kind of a build and retain power steering as well as air conditioning. Can’t wait to see this car hit the track!

Were you haveing belt slip before or after the flip drive? Was it caused by allignment of the flip drive?

having belt slip before the FD. Once installed I could tell right away it was making more boost. Just felt smoother.

Do you have any pics of the intercooler from underneath with the bumper installed? I'm curious how much area of the core is visible... thanks!

BACK from the dead...

So this summer has been pretty ****** weather wise in my area, either raining, tornado's, earthquakes, floods, you name it we got hit.

Finally made it back on the dyno after fixing my fuel problem. And I am very pleased. There is probably a-little more in there but she got the official HOTROD stamp from MikeP.

Here are some specs..
NO METH
11.5 a/f wot
17* timing
75* IAT @ WOT
68* outside temp
