Any way to make Novi2000 LOUDER??
I was thinking about ordering the ECS Novi2000 kit - seems like great kit, performs well, and can't beat the price!
Only thing I don't like is how quiet it is! I like making noise
Is there any way to make this thing louder? I like the whine of those F1's! But the D1/F1 kit is much more expensive
Anybody know?? Thanks!

Dont connect the oil line, just kidding of coures. I dont think there is a way to change how much noise the head units make. The only "loud" head units are the standard prochargers and Vortech V1's but Ive been told Vortech will not sell them anymore, not sure why.

Thats one of the greatest parts, stealth. You could always put on a different bypass (blowoff) valve like the tial . That will make it much more noticeable!

Here's my opinion.
People that know what a blower sounds like will know you have a blower.
People that don't know will never know and will think your car is POS with an extra loud blower.
Plus, I would rather listen to the sound of a nice exhaust (with a little lope)
than the annoying bad bearing sounding (whine) of extra loud blower

I was thinking the same thing.. That will make it louder when it blows off under acceleration but at idle it will be the same.. right?

Ever heard a P1/D1? Is it really THAT much quieter than those two head units as well?

throw the tial blowoff and you'll get more noise, a much more pleasant sound of forced air vs. gearing/bearing noise, kinda importy turbo sounding, but still noticable if thats what you're after especially on a stick car on deceleration or constant load......my car is more than loud enough to know its blown without it......it'd be even louder with it (I'm debating it actually)
as for paxton vs vortech noise, they're just about the same. I've had prochargers in the past, they're not a good noise...

What needs to be done to the kit to add on that Tial? Is it much work? I might just buy that when I put the kit on!! Sounds sweet
