Default Jan 9th Toronto Bench Racing Event!!!

Hey gang, Arun deserves a trophy, but doesnt want it, so lets get together for the first official 2010 event and see if we can get him
drunk instead. He ran 9.04 in full street trim, no small feat.
let me know who can make it!!!!! Lets see who can step up to the
plate and talk a mean "Bench".
Vinny

To bad he quit trying for a 8. I think .04 at 155 mph is less than 1 foot

(sorry I brought that up Arun)

Where and when? Car pooling?
No doubt his contribution to our rides is exceptional.
Great way to say thanx Vinny.

Less than a foot.....wow.

Well he sure can't drive here Rob, it would take forever cruising in the 2speed Vette.

Probably no longer than it took you to trailer your "Street Car" to MIR.

Slightly Modified ... I tore down the trans and did some upgrades & replaced some parts. We also upgraded to the ZR1 Diff & c6 rear sub frame and control arms. Due to a vibration issue, with some help from Chris & Doug we changed the torque tube to the ECS u-joint design with a custom molly shaft. Perhaps over kill ... but I don't want to tear it down to often

Didn't make it to the track in time this season. I will take Douggie down next season

Hmm, that makes a lot of sense, drive 600 miles, with 3 guys, a jack and Drag Pack-kinda hart to fit in a Z06 don't you think?

But unlike you who has to trailer his car to go get milk because:

1) you can only use your "light weight" brakes once

2) making left and right turns in a parking lot requires arms like the HULK

3) your seats hurt your *** cause there's no padding and there made out of aluminum

4) there's not many gas stations that offer C16

5) it's no fun driving in the "slow lane" on the HWY

6) Your girlfriend won't go anywhere in your car cause she doesn't have a Helmut

7) You just realized you "built a purpose built dragcar"

You wouldn't have a problem steering this car though Arun. I've seen your arms. Maybe you should get the pinto rack.
